<Mines and castles and asylums and even graveyards are played out. Space is unknown, but it's a void of nothing. It only gets scary if there IS something. With the Forest, you don't know all. Many killers like to hide in the forests at night. Many criminals get away in the middle of the night. You don't truly know what you'll encounter. But the sea... that's something different. No forest gets as dark as the sea. The ocean gets pitch black. You don't see a damn thing besides the bio-luminescent lifeforms... and even that's not the full story. 5%, only 5% of the god damned ocean has been discovered apparently. If that's the case, there's no telling what -blam!-ing abomination you'll find.>

Deep forest. Especially at night. Dunno if you’ve heard of skinwalkers or wendigos but that shit is scary as all hell. The stories you get from people who go too far and come back alive are blood-curdling.

Deep space is so not scary bruh 😂
-
Literally all of them. Oof.
-
Deep Forest prob.

Asylums have always frightened me, particularly because I know that if I was alive fifty/sixty years ago, I would have been in one. The way alienists and "nurses" used to control and treat their patients is the most horrifying history mankind has ever been responsible for. There's a reason gothic and horror always gravitate towards these places.

At deep sea, you’re still near life, and within miles of human life. Deep space, you’re alone. Alone in the most literal sense.

An a graveyard at night in a deep dark forest at night, that is in an abandoned asylum, that is in an abandoned mine, under an abandoned castle in the deep sea, in deep space.

Edited by KingOfGames: 5/23/2018 6:14:42 PMAsylum, deep sea, and deep space all take the cake. An Asylum because realistically there might be insane people who have developed homesickness for their prison. You don't want to stumble upon somebody who will eat your face while screaming "OH DR. KENNETH HOW I MISS YOUR RELAXING MEDICINES!!!" Plus Arkham Asylum and HP Lovecraft make them sound spookie. The deep sea because realistically because weird -blam!-ing things like yeti crabs, those fish with light bulbs sticking out of their heads, and colossal squids exist. Human vessels aren't even strong enough to withstand such pressure. Also unknown beings like Cthulhu and the Kraken.
ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn
and deep space because aliens and other dimensions and weird shit nobody knows about
