Escalation Protocol Harassment of Solo Players.
Has any SOLO PLAYERS had threatening messages or worst in Escalation Protocol.
So I was trying to find one of those Escalation Protocol event to play and get some cool loot.
Found 5 players waiting for more players to start with, so I just did some patrol mission and 3 other players join the area. Then the message came, at first I thought it was going to say "do you want to do the event with us"
But no instead I got was "can you -blam!- off and leave", "not in a group -blam!- off", "we need our friend to take your -blam!-ing spot", "we will report for being a Lower level", "just leave and -blam!- off".
This happen to me 6 or 8 times now and it just not worth playing Escalation Protocol event, it just feels like you just get reported for no reason, harassed, threatened and bullied for not being in a fireteam or High Light Level in game.

For one, let them report you. It doesn't matter if they do, being there alone, or at a certain power level isn't against any rule, no action will be taken against you. If they are talking to you like that, record it, and send it to Xbox/PlayStation ECT. That's an actionable offense. Don't reply though. Don't join in on the ass haterry.

-Update- I report to Xbox Enforcement Team and telling them about the messages that I received. Hopefully they will give them a ban or something... I know I shouldn't have posted this topic on the bungie forums, but I want people to know about this situation for Solo players. Thanks to the people who message me on this forum/topic) And also I was wondering if any other SOLO player had this situation or worst.

I can’t wait for one of these turd-eating -blam!-sticks to message me like that. I’ll troll their asses hard. Just burn my Rasputin keys on their Valkyrie Spears and waste them until they leave.

1 ReplyUnacceptable behavior. You DEFINITELY need to report those players through the XBOX LIVE report feature. They'll get a communications restriction quickly, and hopefully learn not to be toxic.

1 ReplyI have joined several parties were I have been asked to do that so they could try to get this done. I just invite the people and leave. It's not going to kill me to fast travel. I hope they got it complete. It's simple and didn't cost me anything. I don't see anything wrong with it. Now if they would have been disrespectful that would have been a different story.

I see many games these days with in game report functions, don’t use them, Microsoft takes no messing with idiot behaviour and bullying, report them all, it’s always nice getting a message from one off their friends stating their dismay! In these instances it’s nice to then report them for harassment, it’s great!

Report them FOR SURE! Honestly though, I don't understand why there are no 6 person fireteams. They can load six into a raid so this should NOT be a problem. Once again Bungie screws the pooch.... Just unbelievable!

Just report them bud for harassment. That’s what I will be doing if I get any messages like that. Just play the game how you want and don’t feel pressured by anyone. At the end of the day we all play games to get away from the stresses of everyday life. Also good luck to them reporting you for being a lower light level.

Any msg that uses profanity or is harassing in any way can be reported to Xbox Live and they will definitely ban the offenders. I know from firsthand experience. Lol. All I did was call a dude a p@ssy for not playing a 1v1 against me though.
