It's been a little while since the last time I played Reach (still less than a year), but apparently there's some new update allowing me to "take my Spartan online". You're presented with an ultimatum: be reduced to a default Spartan or go online and lose almost all of your credits. Initially, I said "no", and didn't realize that it meant my armor specifications wouldn't show up in the game. So, I went back and, reluctantly, chose Option 2. I lost almost all of my credits, most of my armor modifications, and dropped from Commander Grade 3 to Lieutenant. Needless to say, it killed my desire to play at the time. Hours of in-game progress gone. Is there a remedy for this, or does Bungie not care about anything that isn't Destiny?

Lmao halo.....you should be playing destiny

Edited by Seraphim Crypto: 5/18/2018 5:06:38 PMAs has been mentioned before, unfortunately Bungie does not handle any issues with any of the Halo games anymore. The "rank/credit reset" you mentioned was implemented to combat many things such as offline credit farming and credit hacks, among other reasons. You had to earn cR online properly. But don't give up. You can re aquire anything you lost, you may even choose a different way now and save the cR for a few other armor you didn't choose before.

10 0 / 10 - Extra 90 points since people don't even get it.

There is no remedy. This was implemented into the game as a means to combat an exploit, IIRC. Regardless, Bungie has nothing to do with Halo anymore, so unless you just wanted help from the community, you're better off going to Waypoint for help.

Did I accidentally step into a time machine?

Bungie? 343 are the ones in control of Reach now.
