Things This Expansion Got Right, Things it Got Wrong
This is purely from an introductory level perspective after playing for 12 hours straight yesterday. I/we did not play pvp. We did do a normal Leviathan and other things which I will comment on here.
Tl;dwtr: This expansion brings a healthy change to the state of the game after Cursed Osiris... It is not without it's faults, and it is cookie cutter Destiny aside from a couple small things. It IS worth $20 if you enjoy playing D2, if you appreciate vast expansive skyboxes, and if you like pretty tough wave based activities.
Ok..

- Mars location. The visuals of this location are amazing. It really does gice the sense of what D1 gave me/us. An expansive area with mystery and golden age tech all over the place. The intricate passageways, ice caves, and Bray Tech facility are all top notch. This is a main reason why I play this game. Just looks freakin cool. Good job.
- Things to find. I dont know what happened in Cursed Osiris..but the addition of scannable items, hidden shoot to loot items, keys, caches, etc was a very welcome addition. Im not even going to watch all the YouTube videos on it. I want to find them between me and the clan. The fragments arent too gard to acquire and it doesnt feel overly grindy. I love that bng didnt make it simply that you walk up to it and scan it..as I was expecting. Good job.
- Bray Weapons. Hawksaw is back bby! And the armor items look cool as well. Nuff said. Good job.
- Ninja updates to the raid. Lol. We jumped on the first Calus plate and started shooting him, only to find that oh boy...his health has increased! And it takes double to take his shield down during skulls. Well done. Not too hard, welcome change.
- Aesthetics of gear and weapons. All the new stuff looks great. No complaints.

- I am very disappointed in the Adventures in this expansion. Adventures in the base game were overlooked, but were a major component and some were very interesting. Adventures in Cursed Osiris were a main component and were somewhat interesting and involved doing stuff and things. Adventures in Warmind are awful. Theres not really any denying that. Take the Cabal one for example. You run to an area....am ush them lol, and thats it. It was a last minute addition and poorly implemented. Would have been better to eliminate it from the game.
- Nokris strike. Ooh.. Its not good. Sorry. The whole thing isnt good. Nokris is boring and doesnt even damage you unless you literally stand under his robes 😎 Im sure this strike will be challenging as the NF, but as a strike...it isnt good.
