Recently I've been reading "deadpool kills the marvel universe" "Punisher kills the marvel universe" and so on. But that got me thinking. What if the master chief killed everyone and everything in the [i]destiny[/i] universe? Well lets find out. Part one: O' Brave New World. "Chief, Chief wake up!" The chief suddenly awoke from his long slumber, opening his eyes beneath his golden visor. Hearing nothing but the calls from his long time companion, Cortana. "Chief! I need you!" Chief opened the hatch to his cryo tube launching himself to Cortana's terminal, taking her chip and placing it inside his helmet. "Cortana, where are we" "I don't know, My sensors are offline. The ship's breaking apart, we need to get out of here now!" An explosion erupted down the hallway, sending flames and debris smashing towards chief. He shielded his face against the incoming debris. "Cortana, open all doors leading to the engines" "But chief, if we don't try to-" "Just do it, we're getting out of here" A door opened behind him. Another explosion, chief darted through the door. Grabbing a nearby magnum floating through the cluttered room. Crates flew into chief, jumping and weaving through the incoming debris, more doors opened before him, leading him to his only chance of survival. Lights flashing flames bursting, all of which seemed like they were trying to keep chief from arriving at his destination. He would not let this stop him. Nothing would stop him Chief took the next door to the engine room. The vacuum of space sucking debris from the now exposed part of the ship. "Chief, ship integrity at fifteen percent!" Chief hung on for dear life. They weren't in the inner atmosphere yet. There was no way he could make a jump. Not at this altitude. The hull began to rip apart, the roars of the now dying beast could be heard in the outer atmosphere of, where ever the hell this was. The ship continued to break apart, like legos. Combusting as they entered the inner atmosphere. The engines were all that was left, and chief began to feel the heat of the atmosphere. Looks like his luck, finally ran out. "Chief, after everything, after all of this. I-" "Cortana, we'll make it". Chief knew this was a lie, he knew he wouldn't be able to keep his promise. He thought back to what she said to him on high charity. "[i]Don't make a girl a promise, if you know you can't keep it[/i]" He failed, he had failed her. His only friend, the voice inside his head. He closed his eyes, preparing himself for yet another eternal slumber. Until, silence. What was left of the engines stopped moving, no more screams of tearing metal. No more heat. Just silence. The engines leveled out. Chief gained footing. And that's when he saw it. A large, white, [i]orb[/i]. Just, floating there before him. As if it was peering into his soul. "Cortana, is that forerunner?" "The readings I'm getting are... Strange. But, they seem similar to the forerunner artifacts we've come across before" "But chief..." "What is it Cortana" "Chief, we're home! This is earth!" "What's a forerunner artifact doing above earth?" The engines began to slowly descend to earth's surface, leading him to the solution to his confusion. "I don't know chief, but somethings not right" "We'll find out" stated the chief. As he observed the mysterious orb. He had no idea about the amount of butthurt, teabagging, nerfing. And the wrath of RNGesus ahead.
