When the update releases, anyone using two characters of the same class will not be eligible to earn gear from Raids / Raid Lairs on their second character of that class. Why doesn’t this apply to Trials?
Actually, this shouldn’t be a thing. Please reconsider discouraging players from engaging with endgame content.
If not, please consider irritating Trials players with the same nonsensical BS, so it will actually get addressed.

pvp is trash and needs to be gone. destiny needs its heart back(pve) bungie does not care about destinys lore or story. just look at Destiny since D1. bungie just wants money.

I dont understand why this is a thing. So what if someone only likes to play as a hunter and makes a couple and one warlock because they cant stand a titan? So what if they get a full set of raid gear because they run two warlocks? Why are they being punished for the way they want to play the game?! I know loads of people in d1 who would run two warlocks/titans/hunters because they couldn't stand the other classes jumps or abilities or for some other reason. This seems like nonsense.

Probably so them paid carries can continue onwards.....

It baffles me how they make weapons geared to PvP but won’t actually separate PvP and PvE with gear sets for both and can create the divid and balance that way! Lazy is as lazy does and not doing something just for the reason of not doing is lazy! Why they don’t implement such a simple change is as simple as making new gear which they do anyway the only other implementation would be the locks in armour change whilst in arbit for the appropriate queue or the tower which would only notify you of incorrect gear equipped if queue straight to orbit! Lazy!!!!

I don't understand why a person would want to play multiples of the same class. you already have the class to play, where could it be fun to play the same class over multiple characters? I get that it's a cheap way to try and level, but just seems so boring and pointless.

I play all 3 classes, but I get why they made the change. There is not much loot, so if you get a full raid set you will have nothing to do for the next 4 or 5 months. I think in D1 it wasn't an issue because we were always trying to get a vex or Crux, but in D2 there's not much in the loot pool. I understand your frustration and hate all the limitations they add to gate progression. It's annoying how you can only level up with the weekly engrams. Once you turn in your engrams all your drops will be sheznet and you might as well not play.

Because raids are a sure thing. Trials, it ins't a sure thing you will reach flawless everytime
