Then i'm happy for anyone getting to see their favorite exotic return in power and glory, and I will happily purchase the next DLC that has The Last Word's return.
Just to be clear, I do not want old exotics to take significant resources away from creating new ones, but it would be nice if they simply reintroduce fan favorites as time allows, with old buffs or new buffs, but buffed none-the-less.
Bringing other exotics in line with the best exotics (vice nerfing people's favorites) should have been their strategy from the get go, but better late than never.

The last word would completely break d2 crucible. It’s ttk with hip fire head shots would be devastating. No way they bring it back unless they lower all other guns ttk

Im hearing some things about suros thats making me pretty upset. Can anyone confirm the rumors.

Yes yes more praise for exotics becoming OP and making legendary weapons pointless. No point to use any other rifle but Vigilance Wing when it becomes fully auto no point to use any other hand cannon when crimson gets 100 range no point to use the Omolon side arms (cause single/auto pistols still are lack luster) when Rat King becomes fully auto. Make exotics over powered I mean "exotic" again.

I'd rather they focus their time producing quality content than -blam!- about reintroducing old exotics. Smoke and mirrors.....
-
Yes. Lets keep enticing Bungle to use the lure of returning exotics to sell meaningless content. Anyone wanna bet on how long it takes them to reintroduce the Jellyhorn?
-
Exotics should just form the baseline for gear. Delete all the rest.
-
I'm going nuts using Suros Regime.

I think this discussion points a larger problem with Bungie's loot system - the purpose and usefulness of blues and purples get lost. It would be useful if blues had 2 mod slots to give them the ability for some greater customization. Legendaries would be more powerful by default, but only have space for 1 mod slot. This also gets into the random perks and god rolls question. Rare/blue items should have only 1 random perk, while legendaries should have several. With these systems and an expanded array of mods, I think Bungie would have several tiers of weapons that would feel useful and perhaps even 'craftable' in pve.
