Sorry guys but Mercury is seriously my favourite destination Hear me out The way i see it its limited size allows all the good stuff to be condensed down. The other destinations are gorgeous but the empty lanes between the open areas are so pointless and Mercury cuts that out The public event is the best in the game (ignoring the unfortunate reveal) Its the most original feeling destination in the game. The others reuse so many assets from D1. (It doesn't feel like Mars to me) The music is fantastic Especially when its the destination of the week (I've already forgotten the term bungie has for it) There's stuff going on everywhere and you're not constantly jumping on your sparrow or travelling to a different landing zone. I spent an hour without leaving doing the milestone and in that time I wasn't waiting for anything and it was so much fun. I wish other destinations would have more to contribute to that milestone, like how mercury has the majors It sort of has the same experience as the dreadnought, of course without all the secrets. But even that destination was bogged down by empty lanes Because of this I cant wait for the Mars destination. It'll be the most visually striking destination in the game with the gorgeous red and white (similar to how striking SIVA was), there's the collectibles to motivate exploration, and it wont be bogged down by pointless, empty lanes connecting the larger sections Share your thoughts
