A little burn is sad.
How about:
Hold RB to charge up a small cone a fire damage. Can one shot dregs.
or
Hold RB to strike once with the sword of dawn. High damage.

It wouldnt be so mediocre if it was buffed to d1 standards and flame shield activated sooner and was more durible

I really wish dawnblade’s melee worked like Voidwalker’s grenade-consume thing. I’d love to be able to consume my melee charge, and then activate the 15 seconds of swift strike for midair accuracy. That way we could benefit from it and get midair kills while not needing to be directly in the enemy’s face.

I'm sick of needing three hits to kill in the Crucible with melee's.

I think Dawnblade's melee is great. Swift Strike is clearly the better of the two, but since both provide burn, both provide for the most basic 2-hit melee in the game for PvP. I like it especially when paired with Sunbracers because they take about half of your nade cooldown off, and with top-tree, you just throw constant long-lasting Solar nades and always have a Swift Strike active in encounters with large amounts of mobs. On Calus, you can throw 4(maybe 5 with cooldown mods) long-lasting Solar nades with the raid mods and Sunbracers. And if there's an O. Rigs Nightstalker constantly making orbs, much more. It's great if you're team lacks the damage to immediately 1-plate.

I wanna see perma death activities introduced and a new Resurrector subclass for the Warlock, Healer and buff subclass for the Hunter (using healing grenades etc) and protector subclass for the Titan, using small bubbles and barriers for teammates to with stand damage for a small amount of time.

Edited by Mar: 5/2/2018 6:53:37 AMI think it should either be the shield melee from D1 for 1 perk set, and then maybe a strike with the sword of dawn that causes high damage and leaves a burning patch on the ground infront of where you melee for a few feet. Would be fun i think. But regardless even just changing the animation to be a swing with the sword would be cool. That being said im alright if they stay where they are, but something along those lines would be an improvement.
