<So, the poster for Spire of Stars came out and it's in the newest Warmind overview link here:

Quick question...
are those Cabal ships a home fleet or is the Red Legion trying to kill Calus? May I remind you that Red Legion Battlecruisers are dark grey, just wondering if Loyalist ships follow the same color scheme.
Also congrats to everyone who called out that this might take place on the central tower of the Leviathan city.>

Read the pre order book

I would just like to note that during the eater of worlds raid, the section where you must kill enemies, involves Calus’ ships being flown in to provide enemies for you to fight. If you want to know, complete the jumping puzzle and then you’ll know.
-
Those cabal ships would have been blown up if they are red legion?
-
I don’t think so. So far Leviathan has corresponded with the existing enemy race. Vanilla: Cabal Curse of Osiris: Argos and the vex Warmind: ?? At first, I thought if it would be frames, then Nessus was a good spot due to Failsafe. She has records on SIVA and golden age data. But this expansion will be hive based. Maybe there is a connection between this...”worm god” and the Leviathan? In the Gauntlet we see one too many little worms all over the central cup. And in the back story, Calus had some sort of bones, maybe to communicate with a worm god. So I don’t think it’ll be Red Legion.
-
Well of course the “spire” is referring to that central tower,
-
I think it's either red legion (the lighting maybe making them look darker) or some of calus's fleet sent to prevent hive prisoners from breaking free and infesting the ship.
-
No the red legion ships are red You see one in the mission where you wander before meeting Hawthorne And unlikely Calus has actually been taking in the red legion troops as it said in the letter from the emperor mission on nessus
-
Those have got to be Red Legion ships.
-
The first time I saw the picture in the bungie post, I completely forgot there’s a spire on the leviathan and had no idea where it was.
-
Why do I have a feeling those ships will be used for parkour (Gets kingsfall flashbacks)
-
If the Leviathan has any fleet whatsoever, Calus is pretty much set on taking back the Cabal empire.
-
No, those are not Red Legion ships. If anything I'd say they could be either a Loyalist fleet or a Blind Legion fleet.
-
If I remember, some cabal on Nessus were attempting to join Calus. Repurposed ships perhaps?
-
Nah, the red legion ships are red and blackish. These seem to be completely grey. Bit odd with how calus rolls, but maybe calus is also a fan of practicality in the field rather then just glamour
