Will S3 Crucible Rank affect PvP matchmaking?
I've read the TWAB and watched most of the stream but I don't understand whether the new crucible ranking system will affect matchmaking or not?
My guess is it WON'T affect Quickplay which will still be connection based, but it will affect Competitive. Is that correct?

It does not. Read the TWAB from this Thursday they specifically state the MM will be using the same algorithm it users now. They also state they will be resetting everyone’s skill rating on May 8th so the first few weeks you’ll get all kinds of mixed matches of skills.

seems like it might to some degree with the TBMM they are putting in. It will match teams with higher ranked solos.
