Can we talk about the new Ghost shells?
Maybe I'm just old school, but I'm really not digging the new Ghost shell shapes. Most of them look like a Nintendo 2DS to me. Child like. And from a physical aspect, how did our round eye'd Ghosts get this rectangular eye suddenly? I like the variants of the original like the spikes and longer top and bottom horns, but this rounder design just doesn't do it for me. Your thoughts?

2 RepliesPersonally I prefer the old/original Ghost Shells as well. It would be cool if Bungie would bring some iconic Ghost Shells back, like the Generalist and Frontier Ghost Shell.

1 ReplyI feel like some of the new shells look pretty cool, but there should be more variety. Here's a question I have. If Sagira is the "Mercury" shell (Which it is. It's the ultimate reward for completing the Mercury activities), why don't we get Ghost shells that resemble all of the races? For example, a Servitor Ghost shell for the Fallen, or how about for the Hive one that resembles a Shrieker?

Completely agree. That's why I only use the Sagira shell unless I need the perks on a different shell.

When I first saw them, I thought they looked pretty good, but now, I prefer the original ones, or something more like Sagira's shell.

Not a fan of the new ghost shells either. Too rounded and toy-like. I do like the Fire Victorious shell, but that's mostly because it reminds me of a nostalgic childhood toy rather than any inherent good looks. I much prefer the D1 shells like Blue Spine/Ironwolf, Diaspora/Iron Song, Joyride and really just the basic, original shell. The Sagira shell's not bad, but not really my cup of coffee.

Yeah I agree I do not like the new ghost shells, 75% of the ships and 75% of the sparrows. Sparrows are big and bulky looking, most of them anyways and most of the ships are just ugly, IMO....

I totally agree however it's easy to see they had to remove the dangerously sharp corners from Ghost shells... Gotta keep those casuals safe! Safety First, right?
