People have been extracting oil from the earth for over 100 years. The amounts we take are massive. It is not possible for a finite ball to contain that much crude oil. The amount of oil is, however, consistent with the concept of a stationary, planar earth. If earth is Flat, and there is nothing but ground below and sky above, infinite reservoirs of oil would exist beneath the ground, created by God for man's benefit as we continue to subdue the earth through industry.
Any informed person can discern the inconsistencies of the ball hypothesis. It is time to stop embracing an idea because we think it sounds smart...

The only problem with the whole Flat Earth theory is people like me. I've actually flown all around the planet. I have flown from the United States to Europe, from Europe to the Middle East and back, in from the United States to South Korea and back. I also flew from Germany to Alaska and back. That was a long trip. Flying at high altitude, you easily see the curvature of the Earth. Then there's those pesky astronauts who have actually orbited the Earth. And all the satellites and space stations that we've had up there. And then there are those who have been to the Moon and taking pictures of the Earth from the lunar surface. I once saw a man accuse an astronaut of Faking the moon landings. The astronaut punched him out for making such an assertion. I think it was Buzz Aldrin but I'm not sure. It is important to note that the Earth rotates on its own axis while at the same time orbits around the Sun. It is this motion that gives us the illusion of the sun rising and setting.
