Leaving Saint 14 behind is a grave mistake to let the Vex hold a hero, let alone his light.
Their lust and envy of life itself beholds him as a trophy of their achievement.
The Infinite Forest isn't a just a simulator. It's a prison for those they cannot best in the laws of physics.
Yet, the ghost decides for you to leave him behind inside of a vault created by your enemy.
Where do you think the light goes when they finally break you down?
The wailing souls of the Vex haunt me.
This is how you lose Guardians.
I would have carried him back myself.

Question. Was that Saint 14 in the Infinite Forest the one from our reality? Or a different one? If not, is OUR Saint 14 still alive?
-
How about Saint 14 comes back as a Vex creation. A boss for the next raid or strike?
-
Well, think about it. The vex, not us, made a memorial for him. They probably though “Oh shit! This dude killed literally thousands of our best units! Without ammo too! And for thousands of years too!” At this point, even the Vex respected him.
-
Even the greatest and fiercest of enemies must be shown respect, even in death. No matter the culture
-
They already completely drained his light. How do you think they managed to kill him?
-
Considering saint killed enough vex to end a war, the vex respected him for putting up that long of a fight. And they took his light long before he died.

It’ll all be folklore when D3 hits the shelves Fall 2019/2020. You’ll see a kid saying to their parents, “Mom. Dad. I want this game”. I be like, “No you don’t kid”. Despite how shit D2 is right now, Bungie is still on a Contractual Obligation. They don’t have a choice... However, it won’t stop Activision’s marketing team from over hyping D3 with advertising to casual players, showing trailers that won’t show much gameplay, a PlayStation exclusive armor set/maps/ exotic weapon, and more. Let’s not forget the EXP boost from Rockstar drinks, Doritos, Mountain Dew, and Poptarts. Who’s to say they won’t throttle EXP in D3. Just sayin ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
Well, how else do you expect Bungie to come up with lazy excuses to make DLC?
-
Whether we bring back his body or not the Vex already took his Light, well before he even died. His grave is a testament to his accomplishments, not the Vex. Better to leave him there. Spartans never die. They just go Missing in Action.
-
The fact that the Vex respected him is what’s interesting, it shows the are capable of showing emotion of some kind. It honestly reminds me of the story of the Red Baron, when he was finally killed the British buried him with a complete military burial just because they respected them.

<It wouldn't make a difference. We always find a way.>
