Fist of Havoc isn't what it used to be

I understand that Bungie wants every super to fill out the same role, but I miss how they worked in Destiny 1. Titans had such a diverse range of supers; a completely defensive one, a high damage one-use slam, and a roaming super. Now, every titan super is just a roaming super, and it takes the fun away, rather than choosing which play style I want to use, it's just a matter of deciding which super is the best in comparison, since they all basically do the same thing. My main gripe is fist of havoc, I was 100% a striker in D1, easily my favourite subclass just because of how tanky it felt. In Destiny 2, however, it feels like a wet noodle in comparison. In PvE it feels nowhere near as devastating, and in PvP it's doesn't feel as unique. I'm not asking for it to be buffed, I'd rather the super be changed back to the way it was, it just felt right that way. In the crucible, whenever I use fist of havoc people can usually just run away from me during my super, so it might as well just be a big initial slam. It has become a bit of a nuisance to play against in D2 as well, since they get to do the initial slam without losing any super energy and it also leaves the aftermath, so even if you survive that initial slam, say if you're also in a super, the aftermath will kill you on top of the fact that they get to run around after that. Ultimately, I just think fist of havoc feels silly now rather than a super that makes you feel powerful. Not ever super should be the same. The whole point of subclasses is specialization, and there's absolutely none for titans. I think this is also the case in the sense of dawnblade. Sunsingers were a pretty unique class, sure they seemed underwhelming compared to others, but they had their playstyle and purpose, daybreak is just hammer of sol but they float in the air. I'm not saying these super changes are awful, but they definitely had it more right in Destiny 1.
