...on modded controllers?
I know that the whole topic on “what’s fair game” has been a touchy subject ever since the first person lag-switched with Thorn, but with constantly evolving tech in video games I am curious how this may affect Destiny 2.
With a plethora of variables constantly changing the PvP side such as connection, frame rates and others, how do modded controllers stand amidst all of this?
Does it break the fairness and competitive aspects of the game or is it merely “frowned upon”?

I would think that depends on the mods. If you apply grip to the comtroller, it's now modded but why would Bungie disapprove? You can use a tap set and threaded plugs to make trigger stops. Or you can use a Scuf controller that already has them. Option A is modded, is it frowned upon? Is B? A lot of ways to mod a controller to make it more comfortable or more personalized for ease of use and accessibility.

Physically modding a legitimate controller? Whatever works as long as macros/scripting aren't a part of it. I don't get why you would do it though. I remember a guy that lost a hand and found a way to use an unmodded Xbox controller with a unique grip. Think he called it the spider.
