So I started bloodborne today.
Well I finally started Bloodborne and so far it's pretty damn good. It totally flew under my radar. I'm sure a lot of you have probably played it. I think I'm going to enjoy it.
Edit: I posted this a while back. Still getting replies here and there. I can see how this is the type of game you can either really get into or it's not for you.
So far I love it! Beat the Cleric Beast and Father Gascoigne and can't wait to see what's next. Although I hear those two are a cakewalk compared to what's ahead.

I’m newer to the dark souls series. Played for a bit in DS3 but other games always came up. Bought a PS4 last December and it was a game on my list to get eventually. Saw it was free for PS+. I waited to get it until a game I fancied was free. Instantly bought it and have been playing since. Worked out well as I just wrapped up my first play through of persona 5, so I needed another game to play for a bit before ng+. I’m pretty far in. I think I have 7-8 “bosses” beat. Currently trekking through the nightmare frontier. I found it early on but I’m at a point where it’s about the only place I can go to so it must be time to beat it.

I think it’s universally agreed to be ONE of the best games ever made, you will suffer, cry and damage personal items (depending on how good you are at managing stress and anger) but the game is so rewarding. Be brave bold hunter, as the night is long.

I'm on Xbone, but I borrowed my friends PlayStation just to play it. I haven't even played through the Dark Souls games yet, but I watched a let's play series for Bloodborne and just had to play it. It hits so many themes I've been wanting in a single game, I love the story, I love the atmosphere, the aesthetic, just... everything! It's definitely one of my favorite games of my nearly 20 years of gaming! I plan on playing through the Souls games when the remaster releases. I hadn't had the time or patience before, but now I have a lot of free time and nothing to do with it.
