Did Characters Look Better In Destiny 1?
So I just hopped on my PS4 and created a Hunter from scratch (just to see the visual difference — if any) in the creation process. I have to admit — the models in the first game look much smoother and nicer. Not only that, but the female models look much more athletic than in Destiny 2.
Is that just me?

I just booted up my D1 to check. I agree. I felt like my warlock has looked wonky in D2 since I began my quest there. Can't find a way to make her look good. She looks amazing in D1. I wasn't sure what it is but I think you've nailed it, the character model has some ill proportions. I thought I might just not favor the gear aesthetic in D2 but now I think it's the base model.
