Random Moment When #2:
Have you ever had that random moment when:
[spoiler][b]You just fall asleep unexpectedly when trying to stay awake, and when you wake up, you're completely oblivious: not knowing where you are, leaving you wondering what year it is?[/b][/spoiler]

I had this a few years ago where I lay down and Instantly fell asleep I woke up without realizing I slept and ended up waiting in bed for a while thinking it was at night

1 ReplyWhen you're closing your eyes to go to sleep and are still hearing your surroundings, say inside of a vehicle for instance, and then you arrive at your destination really quickly to be told : "yeah, you slept for the whole 69 hours" and you be like "but I was listening to everything the whole time" and they be like "nah dude, you were out cold"

I had one really weird experience. Went to a party and got absolutely s--tfaced. I remember the evening up until a certain point where I was trying to stay awake and keep up with everyone else. Next thing I remember I'm in my own house again the next day with no memory of what had happened in-between. I was told that I had gone to bed upstairs where the party was and people had left me to it. I had then got up, been sick all over the bed, opened up the persons wardrobe and been sick all over their clothes. I then had to be washed by my friends and my family had to come pick me up and I was apparently laughing the entire time. Holy f--k was my Dad pissed. It happened like 10 years ago and no-one has let it down to this day.

Often when I'm on a road trip I'll nod off listening to a song and wake up when it finishes. Only to find out from my family that it has been over for like 30-40 minutes.

Not exactly like that, but a similar thing happened to me a few weeks ago. I was listening to an audiobook, (Uncle Tom’s Cabin FYI, don’t hate on it, it’s a really good book, read it.) I dreamt that my family was all at this lake house where my dad was reading this same book to us. I was FaceTiming my organ teacher (weird, I know) while listening to him reading. When I woke up IRL my audiobook was starting right where the story in my dream left off...I felt like nothing ever happened...

I think waking up drunk is closest I've come to that. Not hung over feeling like crap morning after type shit. Drunk. It was funny because I didn't realize I was shitfaced until I went to make coffee.

In a Pizza Hut passed out. I was told it happened when I was seated, but I suddenly sprung up and was out cold, and my limp body fell to the floor. I woke up not remembering how I got there.

I passed out last night and I was dreaming I was going through my day and then I dreamt of what I was doing before I fell asleep and then woke up very confused, I essentially went through my day twice

Last night I kept alternately falling asleep, dreaming that I was laying awake in bed, and actually waking up. I woke up this morning confused and exhausted.

I answered a phone call in that state once. I was awake; I'd walked into another room, but my brain was still in the "Off" position. It was really weird.
