Since I paid for the season pass I may as well play the final DLC I'll touch of D2 as it comes out fresh. Won't play D2 until then.
There's no justification for how long it'll take to rectify as design philosophy that was clearly wrong and that you still refuse to admit and apologise about. There's no need for witch-hunts in that regard, but we know that criticism has (literally) been blocked out on several occasions (referring to some of the lore retcon controversy). We know other members of the Bungie team have had(?) to pick up the slack and others haven't said anything in regards to why choices were made.
Bungie's a mess undeserving of a fresh playerbase, let alone what was a dedicated one due to trust built on the success of the Halo franchise along with the strides and the system changes in Taken King and the QoL changes post-Taken King.
And as much as I'd like Destiny 2 to do well, I'd love it to be a great game because Destiny became one of my favourite games and worlds - it doesn't deserve it, not in a pay-to-play state with dripfeed micro-transaction based content because 'content creation is too hard'. Not when they're forced to revert to D1 systems but on their own terms rather than ours (D1 crucible playlists...but they're weekly rotational rather than consistently there, Rumble...). Not when they retain so much ego as to refuse to apologise, or refuse to communicate with us in any other format than forum post or text - no livestreams so we can talk to them and get a direct response.
...Destiny 2 is a waste of time to the point that I don't want to use my energy creating fan-content I would otherwise enjoy creating - because why should they deserve the niche skills/appreciation of a few when they don't appreciate the community as a whole.
See you guys in May, if there's still anyone left, I'll see how good #feedback gets around 1.1.4 patch drop and see Bungie's undoubtedly but predictable lackluster reaction to it. But I ask one final thing of you Bungie. Prove us wrong.
Fat chance of that though, eh?

Yeah, sure buddy. I'll see you in September DLC.
-
That's cute.

Edited by Huk Túah, Kell of Arrivals: 3/20/2018 11:39:52 PMThank god! I was just sitting here, thinking: Please, please, please let me find a giant wall of attention seeking text! Give me something original! Give me a salty dude who feels the need to tell everyone on the forums he’s about to leave!! Aaahhhh, that’s better. My appetite is sated, my thirst slaked. For now...

Agreed, even if they do manage to show they can fix the game and knock people's socks off with DLC 2 and even release a successful Fall expansion, I'm done with this franchise after D2. Luke Smith is in charge of D3 and that will certainly be a train wreck for a long ass time before the Live Team is able to salvage his mess into an actual product which will take months.
-
Not even doing that. Uninstalled this garbage back in November and haven’t looked back. I don’t care how much I payed; Bungle already conned me out of my money, like hell if they’re going to take my time too.
-
Only fanboys left now mate. Proper gamers fled this garbage months ago.
-
I left in November myself So much better without this shit, I'm having a lot of fun playing league rn
-
Going to play out this dlc and that's probably it for me. I just can't bring myself to play d2 so many better games to play.
-
If I hadn’t already paid for the dlc with the season pass I wouldn’t even be back in may lol. I’m sure it’ll only be a few hours of torture then I’ll be done with D2 lol. The major expansion in September probably won’t even be worth getting. I know I won’t be getting it so.
-
See you in September
-
Barring some amazing (and free/very low price) DLC after May, I'm in the same boat.
-
Atleast forum is almost free
-
Same here. 2 hours for story and finally uninstall this 💩 once for all
-
After May the war will end for almost all guardians who stayed loyal. It may be sad for some but everything ends someday and at the state d2 is at the moment it is better for it.
-
There will always be people even when there appears to be none. CoO didn't look interesting nor did what Bungie said about the stuff in the DLC were going to be interesting. Players come back when there is something to do, and May will most likely bring players back since some of those players would like to play what they already paid for. Since little is known about the DLC, it's Bungie's job to impress us and tell what to expect in this DLC unlike the zero hype they built up for CoO. I am skeptical about the DLC and I'm afraid it might be as disappointing as CoO, but I'll hold judgement until I know what to expect. D2's in a seriously rough spot right now, and with all of those lies and the "folklore" uproar, it has not helped D2 at all. Sometimes, I wonder if D2 would have been better if it was delayed to Fall of this year, but I think it would have only delayed the inevitable disappointment.

Nailed it

The digital deluxe edition back in September was a terrible decision. I will play until the end of that lifespan then I will leave. At this point my clan is pretty much gone and I'm not spending more money on this franchise
-
I was foolish enough to pre order, but still won't cone back in May.
-
Tldr See you if things get good.
-
I'll have a look at the next dlc seen as I've paid for it too, after that I'll wait a few years and pick up the collectors if it turns into a half decent game by then, and won't be buying D3.
-
Cool story! Bye.
-
See u in year 3 of D3 lol bungie u suck😅😅😅
-
Will to pop in and look at the skybox when the season pass DLC drop.. before that.. I really don't thinks so.. plenty of other better things around to do and better games to play.
