I have a theory that while enemies as well as us might use elemental attacks, guardian abilities and maybe even weapons are Infused with light where enemy attacks aren’t. Like I’m the Savathun song strike, ghost says that only guardians can produce void light, even though hive shriekers and hive shredders use void attacks. While enemy attacks as well as guardian attacks use elements, I feel guardian attacks are light based with elemental supplements, whereas enemy attacks are basically just elemental attacks.

Literally every race has attacks that utilize the elements. Those elements are the fundamental forces the universe is broken down into, so [b]all[/b] races can use them. Elemental Light is different from that. Like in the Savathun's Song strike, the Hive is harvesting Void Light. Ogres already shoot void damage out of their beams, but they need to harvest it from Guardians because only Guardians have Void [i]Light[/i]. There is a difference; and no other race can use Light.

No other race can use the light whatsoever. The hive use arcane to use energy attacks and the vex have some well of energy that allows them to discharge small amounts at a time. That fallen and cabal have technology that allows them to use energy.
