He was such a big name in the world. Why do we have to lose the great people in this world? I hope, if there is an afterlife, I can meet him someday. #RIPStephenHawking

I know there is an afterlife it’s called heaven and if u wanna get there all u need to do is to ask Jesus into your heart read the Bible! That’s all and guess what I’ve seen Jesus plus I’ve been baptized I’ve gone to church and I know I’m going to heaven! Maybe I’ll see u up there some time.

I saw a Shower Thoughts post on Reddit that summed his life up nicely: "I think that the fact that the death of a scientist has made headlines worldwide is the perfect tribute to Stephen Hawking's life."
-
You really can't believe that a 76 year old in that condition died?
-
-
I can't believe it's not real butter
-
But you cant meet him in the afterlife. According to him, there is no such thing. So either he is correct or he is in hell.

Edited by Ricochet 049: 3/17/2018 6:33:06 PMWell you don’t have to believe it. Someone eats all the cookies on December 24th.

Press F to pay respects

Sucks because astrophysics is really interesting and I was hoping for more discoveries from him in the next decades.
-
I mean it’s pretty believable. He lived 50 years longer than his life expectancy. Crazy thing is he was born on the 300th anniversary of Galileo’s death and died on Einstein’s birthday.
-
Stephen Hawking was a man I greatly respected. His strength and commitment were truly admirable. He was an incredible man and he will be missed.
-
The ultimate person to look up to. The top of human intellect. One of the true heroes of the world. And yet Kim kardashians death would get more sympathy/ coverage/ grieving. We deserve to go extinct.
-
Not to be mean but I think he kinda earned it and did really damn well to live as long as he did. He was diagnosed with motor-neurone at about age 20 and was told he wouldn’t see more than another 3 years at max and yet he fought through and lived more than another 50! He’s left an incredible mark on the world and the scientific community as a whole. I say he’s earned his rest.
though I guess now he can finally truly know the truth regarding whether there is a deity or not and perhaps even the origins of the universe. Provided reincarnation isn’t a thing and he just went straight into his next life...
No wonder discord is flooded with memes about him

His knowledge about our world was godlike who do look up to now? it came like a shock to me yesterday anyone know if it was a calming death or cause?
-
He was a great mind and contribution to our world for certain. Although The Theory or Everything and just general word of mouth says that he is quite and asshole.
-
Wow. I thought this was a troll post..
-
Be more amazed at what he was able to achieve despite his physical condition. Doctors told him he had two years to live, decades ago.
-
<Holy shit that happened today...>
