casual players not being able to get into the endgame (raiding) seems to be the main reason Bungie made most of the content watered down or EASY. this and the fact that Bungie had like 9 months to make all this content. I think the problem of casuals not being able to finish content could be solved by a simple LFR feature. I know the hardcore may cringe but it will solve the problem. You will have a guide. 1 person because the idea of guided games obviously isn't working in its current state. The guide will share how to do the raid with the casuals and for every boss the group defeats everyone will be rewarded but the guide will get AWESOME rewards to incentivize and for the extra effort of teaching (such as full body auras that toggle on and off).upon completion these guides will get a unique reward that can only be obtained by guiding players through an entire raid. then apply these same practices towards missions so missions can be difficult. as upper tier players don't like being handed everything.

Problem with that is 1 person isn't going to want to spend the time to teach 5 randoms the raid. Would take too long and the frustration from trying to see where the wipes are coming from and why is impossible when trying to watch 5 people. Guided games actually works fine in its current state. My clan uses guided raid to fill 1 or 2 spots. Makes it easier to guide 2 folks with 4 experienced raiders. Or easiest fix. Just find some friends. Fairly easy to do. Or the lfg forums. Lots of groups look for folks that accept little experience. Or get ahold of me lol. We hold teaching raid sessions all the time for our members that don't know it.
