I know OffTopic has a lot of metalheads lurking around (myself included), so I'm expecting some good responses. Just post the heaviest shit you got. Doesn't have to be your favourite music, just your heaviest. The end goal of this post is for people to experiment and come away with music that they like. With that being said, above is my own contribution to this discussion. I wrote a little bit about the track below for those who are interested. [spoiler]This track belongs to a genre of music known as "Deathstep." I know Dubstep has a lot of negative connotations amongst music lovers thanks to the "Brostep" fad back in the early 2010s, but Deathstep does away with most of what Brostep brought to the table in favour of minimal buildups and aggressive, bone-shakingly heavy drops. Artists from the genre typically lift imagery and themes from Religion (Satan, demons, etcetera) or from old Horror movies. If anyone is interested in checking out more artists in this genre, I'd recommend Punishment, Venom, Fester, Havel, Influx, Necrofiler, Concavenator, Harsh, and Aimless.[/spoiler]
