1. The community
-D2’s community is all over the place. You have some good.....if you can find it.
D2 community is like a girl trying to pick out what to eat on a date. They don’t know what they want. Some players want nothing but pve
in a FPS game idk why they would want that?
. Some players just wanna run the most cheese build for a easy win in pvp.
To sum it up the community is pretty much Sonic the Hedgehog community at this point. Which is discouraging to newer players who are on the outside looking in.
2. Lack of replay ability in raids
-there’s no real pve end game. The raids are good, but there’s no drive to replay them.
i know they’re improving them
3. No replay value for strikes.
-exotics came by easy in D2, so no more grinding out strikes to obtain them. No strike specific loot
which came in y2 i believe
4. Pvp in general
-there’s only 5 game modes, and you can not select which one you wanna play.
4v4 for all of them was a bad idea
And the 3 That everyone really plays all feel the same.
quickplay control/supremacy/clash
The slow pace action is really good in 1v1 fights, but not so good in 1v2s or 2v3s.
5. Lack of weapons
- the lack of weapons in D2 is crazy. D1 after dlc 1 had a bunch you could choose from. Even though the vanilla weapons were useless in the lvl department at the time.
now a lot of the community will say bring back random rolls to and extent I agree. I rather have the forge rolls. And I think the mod system has potential to be better, but we need need better/ more options to get masterworks core etc.
6. The perks suck
-all the perks in D2 seems to be just trash. None of them are exciting outside of a few. They just seem like exhumed from D1. Which make every weapon feel meh.
7. No daily, weekly reasons to play.
- even though they were little things in D1. Bounties gave the players reasons to play everyday. In D2 we have challenges, but due to the interface most players over look them.
8. Social Media content creators
-the content creators of D2, majority of them are just in it for some quick views bc the game is popular. So whatever popular to say about the game they will follow the trend.
And their followers will do the same. If so and so youtuber/streamer say something is OP
no land beyond was not freakin op lol
and demands a nerf, so will their following. Well a good chunk of them. I mean a lot of those same content creators said they wanted Destiny to be exactly like how it is today.... I will just let that sink in.
After all That being said stay positive you guys. All this negativity is bad for the game and the community. I know I know it’s frustrating, but come on put the pitchforks down and settle this like civilized adults. Stop acting like a spoiled brat in the store bc he/she didn’t get the toy they wanted.

Edited by Shreem: 3/7/2018 11:03:31 PMBecause for some intangible reason the community thought it was a good idea to let streamers, who wanted this game to be some MLG Tournament Masterpiece, turn into their representatives, and so bungie listened and tried to make Destiny what MLG games usually are: Boring, dry, tryhard, entertainment for twitch viewers but not the vast majority of people who play the game. Them already moving on to their next piece of prey to exploit for self preserverance might just be beneficial for Destiny if Bungie manages to make the game fun again and if the community grows the common sense to not preach the opinions of their favorite streamers as absolute truths.
