the only thing keeping me from investing all my time in Monster Hunter is Destiny 2's raids
-
It won't work. Just like raids in WF. The only thing I can see them do is a large group (6+) to hunt a really big bad boy that will take 1+ hours with a group that know what to do.

Raids in terms of large Monster fights designed for more than 4 Hunters (i belive the maximum was 12 or 16 Hunters) already existed. They were essentially called Raids in the 2 existing Online titles. The fights are similar to the Zorah Magdaros fight in MHW just on a larger scale. I guess they could add the same to MHW seeing how it's played Online much like the other 2 Online titles, but that's up to Capcom.

Why are people comparing these games? They’re nothing alike. Why can only one be played?

Edited by SinisterSmile: 2/24/2018 7:42:07 AMHow would this raid go? I mean they already have a hunting 4 monsters where they come out 2 at a time and then there are the investigations with 2-3 monsters to hunt with 1-4 chances. If they implement a raid how would they do it? I mean they can go about it like an old mobile tcg game I played where the monster has a set amount of HP (1million) and everyone within that server deals as much damage to the monster where at the end there was a leaderboard and everyone gets the most rewards 1-3 and semi good 4-6 and everyone else gets an item 7 and under.

Monster Hunter has customizable cats. They automatically win.

How would a raid work in Monster Hunter World?
-
Personally not even their raids are bringing me back.
-
Doubt it. I couldn't get into Monster hunter.
-
MHW is trash I doubt Bungie is even losing a guardian to that game.
-
Never Gonna Happen Raids in MH that is. PVP either.
-
Well the idea is solid but seeing how the game is setup I don't see it working in its current form. It is a nice idea though.
-
That just.. doesn't make much sense. I can't picture something in MH akin to the raids in Destiny.
