Dear Bungie, I have now played 55 games of Crimson Doubles. Here is my feedback.
Game Mode:
Positive - Fun, quick, well thought out, love the final round elimination.
Negative - I think the second power should spawn about 10-15secs earlier (so 20-25 before the end of round), to make the second power engagement matter in the round.
Perks:
Positive - ability regen is great for this mode. Feels mayhem level almost when right with your partner. Love the split apart icon mechanic as well. Feels like I can pull off 2v1s regularly, but I am not invincible.
Negative - double nades can be spammed endlessly.
Rewards:
Positive - Ornaments and emotes are cool.
Negative - really with there had been an armor set (Amor Armor??? How have we not used that yet). I'm really not a fan of these weird shaped round ghosts. I appreciate that someone put some hard work into them, but I much prefer the older angular style.
Map:
Positive - LOVE IT
Negative - none
Overall: I am very happy with this game mode and event. Please keep making more like this. I would love doubles to be a permanent part of the playlists.

The complaints of "grenade spamming" are funny. Given the grenades are currently so weak anyway, the improved grenade recharge has made actual engagements more common in CD. At the beginning of CD the "team shoot meta" was still common. Did not take long to change that when you tossed a couple of nades where the enemy was camping. Sure, the grenades may not kill them but you can bet they left the campsite. It goes to show that given a viable counter ANY so-called "meta" can be effectively challenged. Bungie just proved that players want more choices and less "balance".
