After a few hundred hours of Destiny I have noticed that there is either nothing to do when exploring a planet or everything is happening at once.
I noticed that in sections often times as soon as a public event spawns so does a VIP or a minor event all at the exact same time. Which leaves you the choice of jumping on the public event to get the join and leaving others to do it and dogging them.
Last night on IO at the exact moment the Public event started in Lost Oasis, so did the rings and the vex spawned along with the "Storm Hydra". Meaning you have to choose which to pursue unless you are running a full fireteam in coordination.
A great example was during the Dawning and the faction rallys all the extra events would occur at the same time as a public event and the VIP's.
The faction rally hold control points would spawn at the exact time the public events spawn on all planets. Titan, EDZ, Nessus etc all the same thing.
I also noticed that the other night on IO for some reason no public event or VIP's spawned for a good 10+ minutes leaving me wondering around aimlessly checking the map and quick travelling trying to find something to do while I waited for the next Public event.
I guess I am just wondering why couldn't the VIP's and minor events spawns be staggered from the public events rather than everything at once.
