Well, #OffTopic, It's Been Fun. But It's Not Over Yet :)
This might be the end of the OffTopic forums, but it doesn't mean our relationship has to end. I've met my fair share of haters, trolls, alts, and a ton of people who try to make my experience here horrible but I've also met a ton of friends and people I've come to know and love.

A lot of you are already in this group, it's a server of over 2000 members based off our Bungie.net group of 4 years. In our server are well-known members of the community like DTL, Zoob, Longface(the real one), Hamlet Enthusiast, IntrepidTurtle, Logical Jack, Neon, BioSmiley, RisingTiger, Relyks, and a ton of other people who some might even say have disappeared from this site.
Now, this server isn't anything fancy and it's really no better than all the other Discord servers out there. But you're more than welcome to join, it's where I've been hanging out since these forums kinda died.
I guess I'll see you there :)

1 ReplyTenvorock can proudly say that ARDENT is a place I really enjoy spending my time, and I think a lot of other people do too, and will if more want to join. It’s a great community, and the only thing that it takes to fit in is to talk and embrace yourself.

[i]"All ends are beginnings, neo"[/i] Jokes aside, while this move on Bungle's part won't necessarily kil off-topic, it will be a heavy blow to the community to lose so many regular members in one go. It's most unfortunate. Discord is a good site, and many folks have set up shop there. It supports chat, voice, and all manner of neat stuff. I'd highly recommend it, for what that is worth. The ardent community would be happy to welcome anyone wishing to join, but should you find yourself ousted abruptly from here as a result of the new restrictions...best of luck in future, wherever you may end up.

4 RepliesThe mentality behind this decision is that the forums are to blame for D2 playerbase dying and falling away. Bungie should take the blame (especially Luke Smith) and quit trying to point the finger at these forums.
