I did some test with the risk runner smg and the skathelocke auto rifle. The risk runner has higher stability stats plus a mod that reduces recoil for the energy weapon, but its about 3x worse stable/accurate than the skathelocke ( which has lower stability and no recoil mods). I did these test by aiming at a wall and shooting both while aimed down the sights. The risk runner with more stability did approx 3x worse and bigger spread than the auto rifle with worse stability. Hopefully that was clear. So my question is why? Does less stability mean higher accuracy? (Sarcasm)

You are comparing a smg to an ar. Thats like comparing the range stats of a hand cannon to a scout rifle. Try comparing skathelocke to origin story.
