You have got to be effing kidding. Absolutely no way, how can a bullet do less damage when fired from the hip? Does it suddenly loose velocity???? Does it become weak because my eyes are not channeling the inner mechanisms and damage of said bullet while looking down my sights???? A .50 caliber round fired at a target half a mile away while aiming down the scope and hit, WILL STILL DO THE SAME AMOUNT OF DAMAGE IF IT WASN’T AIMED DOWN AND THE TARGET STILL GOT HIT.

The alternative is to vastly reduce the accuracy. As it would be IRL. You can’t say you want the damage realistic, but not the accuracy.
