So, can I quit without bad Karma under certain circumstances?
1.) Playing with randos against sweaty clan who should be doing trials?
2.) Playing with 3 Blueberries who runoff and continually feed kills to other team?
3.) Spawning into an ongoing 2v4 with no hope of Power Ammo or getting super?
4.) Just had this happen 5 minutes ago: Loaded into NEW MATCH in a 2v4! 2 guys on my team, 4 in the other with at least 2 clanmate. (Other guy and I immediately pulled out Ghost and left)
I try to almost never quit, but sometimes Bungie's inability to properly match, etc. makes that very difficult. I will never quit just because I am losing, and don't care about K/D. But sometimes it is ridiculous.
Would it be impossible to add modifiers to help short team? If a team is short (e.g., someone quits, short team at load, etc.), then do something to level the field. Zone B cannot be taken by full-team until balance is restored. Short team gets automatic Power Ammo? Something has to be done before the remaining players abandon the game.

I don't mind loosing much as long as "I'm" doing good. I quit out all the time if things are going to crap and I'm playing against a full team and can't get a kill because they're running as a pack....if I'm not having "fun" I quit the game and move on....the whole point for me to play a game is to have fun....If it's not fun then I un-sub and move on....I don't give 2 craps about what anyone else thinks about it...LOL

I have a rule that I call "Four and Out". * I have to suffer four deaths with zero kills inflicted. For D2 purposes, an assist counts as a kill only if I did a significant amount of damage. * These deaths have to be due to an obvious skill mismatch. I may not be a good Crucible player, but I can usually tell if someone else is. * These deaths must be inflicted by attacks available at start of match: Super and Heavy deaths don't count. Primary, special (D1), melee, and grenade deaths do. If I die four times, at the hands of visibly superior players, then it is best to assume that I am disastrously outmatched and a liability to my team. Therefore, it is NOT a rage-quit if I leave.

I say it depends on real life situationz

I personally never quit. If I hit the find match button. I must finish for the sake of the community. quitting in pvp games has destroyed so many pvp experiences for me and I will never be part of the problem. 1 and 2 in my opinion are 100% yes you should stay. No gray area from my point of view. I'm less black and white on points 3 and 4. That situation always sucks. I personally stay. I would like if Bungie changed it so situation 3 and 4 could only happen for your first game after clicking "go". Once I pay my dues and join a half full team. For the remainder of that matchmaking session. I'd like to start full matches. Not sure if the player population is high enough for that to be a good solution. Or if it would leave too many games with unbalanced player counts. I just can't wait for quit penalties.

It's sometimes frustrating when team mates quit. With that said, I also think there should never be a penalty if someone quits. My opinion, it's a game. Who cares if you quit? Either stay and deal with it or just quit yourself and go find another match. Quit penalties have more negatives than positives.
