The FBI Agents Association on Thursday issued a statement of support for FBI Director Christopher Wray, amid reports that President Trump will authorize the release of a classified memo over Wray's objections.
“The FBI Agents Association appreciates FBI Director Chris Wray standing shoulder to shoulder with the men and women of the FBI as we work together to protect our country from criminal and national security threats,” the association said in a statement.
2/3 "As Director Wray noted, FBI Special Agents have remained steadfast in their dedication to professionalism, and we remain focused on our important work to protect the country from terrorists and criminals—both domestic and international."

Trump is expected to allow the release of a memo crafted by Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee that reportedly contains of allegations of surveillance abuses during the 2016 campaign. Republicans claim the document, once declassified, will show bias against the president within the bureau.
The FBI issued a rare public statement this week saying it had “grave concerns” about the memo, adding that some information in the document was inaccurate. Wray reportedly reiterated those concerns directly to the White House.
CNN reported Thursday that Wray feels his advice on the memo is being ignored, and that some White House officials are concerned he may quit if the document is made public.
Trump appointed Wray to the position last year after he fired former FBI Director James Comey.
The memo is the latest instance of Trump clashing with the FBI.
The president tweeted late last year that the bureau’s reputation “is in tatters - worst in History!”
Two weeks later, he said it’s “a shame what’s happened with the FBI” just before giving a speech to law enforcement leaders graduating from the bureau’s training program.
“The president of the United States has your back 100 percent,” Trump said during the speech.
Ladies and Gentlemen, the agents of the FBI are so -blam!-ing done with the bullshit of Trump's Presidency and his attack on our very institutions that they felt the need to issue a statement supporting the FBI over the President.

Edited by CoherentBadger: 2/2/2018 12:21:52 AMI feel incredibly bad for the FBI. Just two years ago they were being bombarded with the notion that they were anti-Clinton. Now a sitting US president is publicly attacking them.... Poor guys and gals
Honest question here, is Trump trying to completely discredit, or even destroy the FBI?
