Outcast Guardian Chapter 4: Escape!
This will be the last flashback.

Tower level -1, Wraith's cell
"Wait wait wait, so your arm turned into a sword?! How?!" "For the last time, Cayde, I don't know." "Quiet, you two," said Ikora. "Titan, you said that Caedus betrayed over an old grudge. What would have caused him to hate that much? "I used a projector to create a swarm of holographic thrall in the Tower. He ran away screaming and those of us who were in on it had a good laugh." "I see," said the Warlock Vanguard. Zavala spoke up for the first time. "And Caedus tried to kill you over this?" "Yes," said Wraith. "As to why he did it with other witnesses around, no idea. Maybe he just saw an opportunity and took it." "I see. Ikora, Cayde, do you have any further questions?" The two answered in the negative. Zavala sighed. "In that case, Wraith, you will stay here until your fate is decided." Wraith shook his head. "Respectfully Commander, I'm leaving." And with that, the Exo dissolved. The Titan Vanguard blinked in surprise, then drew a Fabian Strategy. "Cayde, come with me. Ikora, put this place on lock-down and get us in that cell." Cayde drew his Ace of Spades and exclaimed, "Finally some action! I've been cooped up here for too long." The cell door opened and The two Vanguards stepped inside. The cell was unremarkable, 15 cubic feet of metal and a cot bolted to the wall. Ikora stepped in, Invective at the ready. "Where'd he go?" she asked. The cell door slammed shut. Wraith materialized at the door controls. "Dammit, let us out, Titan!" Zavala shouted. "I'm sorry to do this sir, but I will not stay in that house of horrors any longer. Goodbye." And with that, Wraith sprinted down the hall. Wraith looked around frantically. He needed to escape, but he also needed a weapon. He turned and saw it. The way out, and an armory next to it. He ran towards the armory, but quickly skidded to a stop. There was a Warlock, and he was holding a pulse rifle. "Oh, you're not going anywhere, abomination." he said. "You have so much to teach us about SIVA. We're going to tear you apart to find out everything about you. It'll be fun!" Wraith backed away slowly. "Okay, he's nuts," the Titan thought to himself. "And if I'm getting out of here, I have to go through him." Wraith began sprinting as fast as he could towards the Warlock. The Warlock began firing wildly, trying to stop the Titan from getting away. Wraith felt bullets pinging of of his armor, but he kept running and when he was close to his assailant, threw a punch with all the strength he could muster. His fist went through the front of the warlock's helmet, and kept going through the Warlock's head. "Well, that's disgusting." Wraith pulled his hand from the shattered remains of the warlock's skull, and wiped it on the robes of the deceased. He briefly stopped to pick up the pulse rifle from the corpse, rushed to the armory, took a shotgun and machine gun to fill his loadout, and finally got on the elevator out of Tower Level -1. Wraith stepped out into the Tower courtyard and surveyed the open area. The Titan had disguised himself in the armor he wore before his transformation. Alarms were blaring across the building, and Guardians were congregating by the bounty board. An image of Wraith flashed across the display, along with the words, "Wanted for assaulting Guardians, 50,000 glimmer reward." the gathered crowd began to murmur. Wraith kept his head down and kept walking until someone shouted at him, saying, "Hey Titan, come and look at this!" Wraith slowly walked over to the caller. "Yes?" he asked curtly. The caller was a hunter, who replied, "look at the size of that bounty, eh?" Wraith spoke. "That's impressive, but I have to be somewhere right now. Wraith walked toward the hangar, muttering, "Ghost, ready the ship." Behind him, he heard the sounds of loud arguments about who was going to bring in "The Rogue Guardian." Suddenly, the Tower PA crackled to life, and a rather pissed-off voice began to speak. "Attention all Guardians, this is Commander Zavala. The Rogue Guardian is somewhere in this Tower. The bounty has been raised to 100,000 glimmer." Wraith turned to flee, but he found a Hunter pointing a hand cannon at him. "Where're you running, Titan? Ghost, scan him." Wrath stood still as the Ghost scanned him. The Ghost froze. "It's him." The hunter laughed. This must be my lucky day. Come with me, or I'll collect the bounty on your corpse." Wraith sighed, saying "Okay." The Exo then dissolved into nothing, reforming behind the Hunter. The hunter stared in shock, until Wraith picked him up and threw him off the Tower. The terrified screams caught a lot of attention, as Wraith quickly found out when the mob of Guardians began raining a hail of bullets upon him. Wraith sprinted to the Hangar, closely followed by a group of Guardians intent on claiming the bounty. The Titan fled into the back of the Hangar bar, the sounds of boots getting louder and louder. "Crap! Where can I hide?!" Wraith felt a slight buzzing sensation on his torso and looked down. He watched in shock as his armor changed color to perfectly match the back of the bar. "A stealth mode?" his Ghost whispered. "Now that's impressive." "Quiet!" said Wraith, flattening against the wall. The mob finally caught up and entered the bar. There were shouts of confusion as they searched, never finding the fugitive Titan. Eventually, they left, yelling at each other trying to figure out who had misled them. After a few minutes, Wraith felt safe enough to step out. His Ghost notified him that the ship was ready. They transmatted aboard Nanophoenix and finally escaped The Last City.
flashback ends.
