Was contemplating if I should play just for faction rally
Was on the fence because I did want the armor ornaments...and then saw the problems on the forums and the lack of new weapons (which doesn’t even really matter anyway since all the weapons are similar) and am glad that I didn’t log in. Not gonna bother I guess. Would be good to contribute to the dwindling player base and vote with my wallet for future Bungie games.
What a let down Destiny 2 has been.

Thanks for everyone’s replies. I’ve decided not to log in at all even. Both on pc or PS4 (where I stupidly bought the season pass for imo). With the recent development update just over, it’s ridiculous that they thought that capping the rate in which tokens were earned, would even remotely fly with the community. And then Eververse sells the exotic ghost that increases faction token drop rate... yeah... I enjoy the mechanics of the game. I enjoyed the story. I played for thousands of hours in D1. But there just isn’t anything worth my time doing anymore in D2. In fact, the whole Eververse and sandbox has been a slap in the face for long time players of the game.

Not worth playing mate seriously I popped on for 30 minutes yesterday and just gave up there's about 3 new weapons and armour ornaments but it's just not worth it this game is done

Pledge to each faction wait a week and get the winners weapon.

Follow your own mind. If you enjoy the game, play. If you aren’t enjoying it, then don’t. You don’t have to answer to anyone here for what you choose to do. Just OWN whatever choice you make. Instead of blaming Bungie for it, which has become an Olympic sport around here.

If you have the armor it shouldn't take too long to unlock the ornaments. The DO ones look pretty kewl. FWC are garbage and I didn't look at NM. I'm not sure how long it would take to earn the ghost, ship, sparrow etc.
