I preordered Destiny 2, after throwing nearly 3,000 hours at the first game - and many more at previous Bungie releases. It's obvious none of that matters. As an over-hyped monster with millions to throw at marketing and PR campaigns of course the sales of this game would have nothing to do with a loyal customer base or repeat business. Now that you have a mass of 10 year olds that have the game, and you thought it might work out well to pull strings in the dark without critique. This brand, Bungie, has lost its values somewhere. We (those fans) are like now jaded lovers, staring at someone we loved so dearly, as they defecate in our living room and then step on the mess with comments like: "Our first attempt was unworkably buggy..." You people knew damn well what you were doing implementing systems like that. And still we can't even have the dignity to view the numerical values in our experience bars? Hiding something much?
That's just a gripe with experience gains. I'll go on with your MTXs. At some point it was obvious this live game, game-as-service, open-world mmo, was pretty expensive to keep afloat for multiple years. At some drawing table you folks took all the big chuncks of meat (metaphor incoming) - I'm talking, shaders, lore, ships, ghosts, etc - and decided it would do better in sausage weenie form and served on a toothpick. These toothpicks will only cost a few cents, but we know that's the best tasting stuff, so folks will undoubtedly be considering coughing up if they want to get fed. Cos soon enough, they are so starved of said meat, and they realize they had been eating croutons and drinking water for three months and, "well $5 won't hurt." I ALREADY GAVE YOU $100?!? ARE YOU PEOPLE STRUGGLING? DO YOU WANT MORE FROM ME? JUST ASK. If not, please give me the fun back. I will not give you another cent and will ward any other wallet from feeding the black hole that sucked the passion out of you. #LetsPlayFortnite
