(Saw this idea by user BINGE and loved it) Anyone else have useless planet materials in their inventory and just amassing more of them? Here’s a great idea, creating in game buffs (for our purposes pve only* buffs) via a new vendor at the Ramen Shop in the tower. The ramen emblem could then be changed to track how many consumables you have crafted. Suppose a new milestone brought you to the tower to speak to the npc behind the counter, so you make your way over and a new icon is there, Nidora, Ramen Master (if it’s a guy...whoops). Talking to her will prompt a conversation and a tutorial with the new screen that prompts you to craft something. She starts by telling you about what the consumable system is and then gives you a dusklight shard and an alkane dust and prompts you to put them into two of the four slots. Then by holding the “commence crafting!” button, you create a buff, a bowl of ramen! This buff would give you increased regen of your class ability, perhaps only 15-25% for about an hour or two. Nidora then goes on to tell you to try out many different recipes, at anytime just come see her and craft away! This could provide many interesting buffs and a reason to actually gather planet materials (lets be honest the reputation gain isn’t worth it...). Here’s a list of all main effects and combos that I’ve comprised so far, coming up with new/better ones is what the comments are for! -*XP buff: 1 Dusklight Shard, 1 Alkane Dust, 1 Microphasic Datalattice, 1 Phaseglass Needle. >10% XP buff across all activities (20%) for 1 hour -Super Regen Buff: 4 Dusklight Shards. >20% Faster regen for Super meter (40%) for 1 hour -Health Increase/Resilience Buff: 4 Alkane Dust. >5 Pt. increase to Resilience (10) for 2 hours -Health Regen/Recovery Buff: 4 Microphasic Datalattice >5 Pt. increase to Recovery (10) for 2 hours -Movement Speed/Mobility Buff: 4 Phaseglass Needles. >5 Pt. increase to Mobility along with a 20% faster sprint speed and 15% higher jump height (10, 40% and 30% respectively) for 2 hours *Denotes PvP compatible buffs* Combos! -Class Ability Regen Buff: 1 Dusklight Shard, 1 Alkane Dust. >15-25% increase in CA Regen rate (30-50%) for 1 hour -Grenade Ability Regen Buff: 1 Dusklight Shard, 1 Microphasic Datalattice. >15-25% increase in GA Regen rate (30-50%) for 1 hour -Melee Ability Regen Buff: 1 Dusklight Shard, 1 Phaseglass Needle. >15-25% increase in MA Regen rate (30-50%) for 1 hour -Increased Primary Damage Buff: 2 Alkane Dust, 1 Microphasic Datalattice, 1 Phaseglass Needle. >10% increase in Primary damage (15-20%) for 30 minutes. -Increased Secondary Damage Buff: 1 Alkane Dust, 2 Microphasic Datalattice, 1 Phaseglass Needle. >10% increase in Secondary damage (15-20%) for 30 minutes. -Increased Heavy Damage Buff: 1 Alkane Dust, 1 Microphasic Datalattice, 3 Phaseglass Needle. >10% increase in Heavy damage (15-20%) for 30 minutes. (Represents using all blue versions of planetary materials: Dusklight Crystal, Alkane Spores, Quantized Datalattice, Phaseglass Spire) What do you guys think? I think this could make pve more exciting and provide some other uses for these materials!
