Want to get a rough number for which way you guys are leaning. For me it'll be whether i decide to delete this game until the next "expansion" which i already paid for (yes like an idiot) or stick around.
Edit 1 - Out of the 4000+ that decided to vote, 3300+ agreed. Pretty obvious where the majority stands at this point. For all you staying, lol.

They’re adding content that should have been in from day 1. Bungie is purposely doing this in an attempt to prolong D2’s life cycle. Gjallarhorn WILL RETURN, because that is how Bungie operates now. Lazy and greedy developers

Edited by Oz70NYC: 1/11/2018 11:25:16 PMGoes to show how incredibly naive most of you...or specifically 2361 of you are as of this comment. Bringing D2 to a point where it's robust and satisfying is going to be a time consuming effort spread across numerous updates. If you're expecting "ground breaking information that will FOREVER change the fate of Destiny 2", you're kidding yourself. But then again, this forum is pretty damn good at being naive and over-entitled. So why would I expect anything to change from the year and a half since I last posted here?
-
After I dropped D2 I went back to play D1, and I have to say, SOOOOOO much better. I went into Kings Fall, Wrath, and VOG just because of how much fun they were. I wen't into the Crucible for fun, and I really enjoyed it. D2's story was amazing in comparison to D1 but everything else is significantly worse. I hope Bungie can find a way to fix D2 to the point it's fun.
-
Who cares there's a dark souls remaster on the way.
-
Finally deleted D2. I’ll put the disk space to good use.
-
Update is shit of bull
-
I preordered the deluxe edition, uninstalled two missions into CoO. If I can do it, so can you
-
Oh no, 3,300 people 😮😂😂😂
-
Would u say there are what.....500k people still playing destiny 2 on one platform or another....conservatively? I don’t think 4000 hard core people chiming in on a random poll speaks to the accuracy of your claim that ‘it’s over’.
-
it was mind blowing
-
well, the game is done. RIP
-
Why would you delete the game? Are you afraid you may end up playing it if you do not?
-
Not being able to do anything with the shaders until fall is a classic. Comments like that are mind blowing.
-
I read the whole thing multiple times. I asked myself the simple question - is this worth coming back for? I just can't do it. I'm not falling for it again. I did this with D2 and i'm not going to be disappointed again. Bungie are playing catch up. They expect people to wait, yet again, with D2? Maybe if you got it right the first time this wouldn't have happened. Had you not re-booted D2 and cobbled together what we got in 16 months then you could have made a proper sequel. But you didn't. You f--ked up it like you always do. You've had so many chances to get this right. All you're doing is adding old s--t back. Things that should have been in D2 at release. That's not something to be congratulated for. Your going to spend the whole of D2 trying to fix D2. I know it and everyone else knows it.
-
its just blowing , without the "mind"
-
If you like destiny keep it if you thing the devs have screwed up for the last time then just delete the game and never play it again
-
Yea no thanks. Just another attempt to hook line and sinker the gullible idiots. All these systems? Should have been implemented at the START. No excuses. 6v6 was in the game for years, it should have been obvious to have some damn kind of ranking with the damn competitive playlist from the beginning. We had private matching already. Just a big bloated post of adding crap that we already had before. That is literally it. Maybe i'll bother with bungie in 2 years when they put all this shit into a super cheap bundle and finish making shit obsolete and make it actually fun again.
-
I'm from the future. It wasn't.
-
ITS ALL OVER- dun dun, dun dun dun!
-
Just reacquired 30gb of hard drive space
-
Its too little too late. D2 will be deleted from my system never to be played again. I'll still play D1 from time to time but thats it unfortunately. Sorry Bungie but you've lost a loyal customer today.
-
Stick around for late 2018 guys :) buy the dlc! Far too little far too late.

Edited by Daddy_Dane_: 1/12/2018 12:00:14 AMHow much are people really expecting around here? Like realistically? I would actually like some coherent and thought out opinions. The IDONT LIKE EVERVERSE WAAA movement got old really quickly and it made it seem as if people can’t even converse. Realistically: -they aren’t removing eververse. -any core game mechanics you want reversed aren’t happening. -think on ways of improving what we have now and voice them out to the fullest instead of bitching about what they literally have no way of changing. -just gonna have to repeat this one because the community is too dense, eververse is going no where. - dlc 2 will probably suck. - I hope I’m wrong but they aren’t keeping mayhem. -again I hope I’m wrong but crimson doubles will also prob suck. -random perks won’t come back. I would list more but I’m getting bored if anyone wants to continue the list feel free. Edit: DEY DO NOT KNO DE WEY BRUDDAHS WE MUST SHO BUNGII AN DIS COMMUNITY DA WEY

Edited by Aniond: 1/12/2018 6:38:42 AMMajority? last time I read. I saw the active players around 300,000 . Thats .011 of the player base. Amazing how real maths works isnt it.
-
So if it's "over", will all you who dislike the game actually leave the forums and leave it for people who actually enjoy it?
-
It's called sampling
