I have several ideas to improve the meditations to be more incentivized to play them.
The problem(s):
Once you are done with the meditations, you get 3 tokens. If you complete a meditation with a Fire Team, then you (the leader) gets the tokens only. Giving the other Fire Team members absolutely nothing in return (in terms of Tokens). In order for people in your Fire Team to each get the Research tokens, you need to swap leadership roles and do the same mission 2 more times. And if you have 2 more characters this racks up to 27 times to play the missions over and over again so each person get there tokens.
Possible Improvements:
Make this activity a group activity to keep in line with the Friendship endgame idea. For this, make it so that when you play with friends each person in your Fire Team get tokens for completing it. Along with a bonus token for each Fire Team member at the time. Make it a completion for the other Fire Team members so they know which Meditation they have completed for the week.
It's a small increase but I think it will incentivize for people to play more of the Meditations. Any more suggestions to improve it, that will be great!

Meditations from Ikora can be changed like this: 1) Make it a daily cycle with one mission. 2) Everyone in a fireteam who participates earns their tokens/reputation for completion. 3) Considering these are the Heroic versions of campaign missions, it would be great to have alternate paths to take - i.e., Lost to Light - for incentives such as Lore, Bosses, and Legendary or Exotic gear. Other items such as Legendary Mods or Masterwork gear can also be a great incentive to completing these missions. In general, with a collections tab added to the game, there can also be accumulative completion tasks that reward Meditation exclusive ghost shells, ships, sparrows, shaders and emblems. Apply this type of implementation and I'd find it very rewarding.
