These arrow posts are -blam!-ing -blam!-. How much hard can you upvote whore?

At the rate they develop content, we will have to wait 2 more years to get half of the rpg elements of the game d1 had at launch. This was apparent 2 weeks after the game launched, aka right around the time i stopped playing. This is just not an option. If they do not release a D1 build there is no hope for D2. Really that simple.

Subclasses are one major issue. ON TOP OF.... A shitload of other issues this game shipped with. THEY TOOK ALL THE GOOD STUFF AWAY AND BROKE SYSTEMS THAT WEREN’T BROKEN Weapon system Bounty system Ranking system Reward system It’s amazing how much they destroyed Destiny. It’s amazing that the only improved system is their micro transaction system. And that’s sad. And the biggest elephant in the room is that the way in which we played Destiny can’t be brought back with small fixes. These systems require a huge overhaul to revert back to the old way. Think about this: usually a company would sell something by saying “new and improved”. But with Destiny 2, in order for them to fix it, they have to change the game back into the game so many of us grew to love. Back to the old way. They’d have to do that and sell it by saying it’s “old and improved”. Weird.

I seriously think this game was made for children. They literally watered down everything

PLEASE BUNGIE

Yes, I think that is one of the biggest issues with destiny 2. There is no depth to the classes. There are no actual builds that vary play styles enough. Everything feels the same. The skill trees give no customization. The armor seems completely pointless. Bungie seems to be afraid to add new and exciting mechanics to class customization. Honestly aside from some exotics I felt D1 lacked in this and D2 is far (so very far) from D1.
-
I'd love to see the old skill trees come back. Destiny always struck me as an RPG/FPS hybrid - like mixing bits of Diablo, Borderlands, and Halo. You *want* more to customize your build than just pretty colors. The more they steer away from this, the closer it gets to just being any other online FPS.
-
If their not going to make is as deep as D1's skill tree at least let us mix and match, ie: top/left from top attunement and bottom/right from bottom attunement.
-
Game is broken beyond repair IMO. But I'll check back in 2019 just to see if Bungo can turn urine into wine.

Edited by ApolloMac19: 1/11/2018 2:31:53 PMYup. Another thing they dumbed down in a misguided attempt to balance PvP. Nearly everything they have -blam!-ed up about this game can be attributed to PvP balance.
-
That would be awesome... but don't see how it will be equalized in a PvP setting... that's what made D1 unbalanced... and people wanted balance...
-
The problem is that Bungie built D2 in hopes that they can cash in on MLG. Instead of RPG style class trees, they basically give you 18 “heroes” to choose from that are easier to balance in competitive modes. That’s also why there are so few exciting weapons or exotic armor. Without things to chase due to the overwhelming blandness of “balance” there basically is no endgame. The only thing that will save D2 is to abandon serious competitive gameplay as the way forward in order to liberate Bungie to make a game that people enjoy playing. Otherwise, “balance” will kill off what remains of D2.

-
I personally prefer the new trees, much easier to switch to and from. Besides, people ran like 1 or 2 builds per subclass.
-
Edited by Jdniscool: 1/11/2018 3:20:32 PMI do not want the trees to be expanded. The are fine, IMO.

I want depth...period. There is none currently. You get black or white, wohooooo!
-
These cookie cutter trees fell like a afterthought just plain bad and boring really boring.
-
As a sidenote , has anyone looked at the " trees " for path of exile , had a braingasm .
-
Anyone know when the announcements take place?
-
Edited by TeslaDoc: 1/11/2018 5:33:00 AMYes, please! The current skill trees are made so that there is clearly one “best” choice.
-
<---This is how many people think these post are getting old.

I won't say no to that

Did you play D1?
