Well... this could be a cool thing. As long as there is grimoire in game in a terminal or codex in the menus. This is a ... nice sign. I think that is a thing many of us miss from D1 but just hated the fact we had to read the fantastic lore on Bungie.net instead of the game.

It should have been in D2 at launch. Now they announce this as an amazing addition to the game AND behind payed expansions? Really? They insist in treating us as if we are all devoid of intelligence and memory. It's this kind of disrespectful attitude towards the players, done over and over, that will kill Bungie.

Man, just what everyone was asking for, dead ghosts. Can I get a hole in my head to go with those ghosts? At least then my IQ would be room temperature and I could appreciate D2.

1 ReplyNone of this really matters. Thursday I would guess they either hit one out of the park or the fans realize the season is actually over and head for the parking lot. If there have not been long intense ass chewing sessions at Bungie their chances of this game making it are kind of thin right now.

1 ReplyThere's no in-game grimoire nor is it present in the app. Bringing back collectibles might just mean finding stuff in the world and getting an engram. It also doesn't mean that it'll be dead ghosts, it might be something totally uninteresting. It'll probably be Eververse related frankly

Since the game is a redo, then the lore of D1 has no bearing on D2. Why did they make D2? To sell us back the stuff the took away? Doesn;t really feel like an improvement.
