Clans - do you like helping others and maybe looking for new members? Do GUIDED GAMES
If your clan likes helping others or constantly finds itself short a player or two for Raids or Nightfalls then I encourage you to do guided games as a Guide. The queue to find players as a Guide is usually 1 to 2 minutes. The queue for Seekers is generally 30 - 45 minutes so clearly there is need for more guides.
I was really against this whole idea in the beginning but now I'm on board and my clan has maxed both Nightfall and Raid Oathkeepers score in Season 1 and Season 2. On top of that, out of the ones we played with, we've picked up a few really solid players for our clan. Not everyone will be a fit but picking up a few here and there is a nice way to grow your clan roster.
The players run the gamut. We've run into those who have never attempted the Raid to those who have a handful of clears but just don't like using LFG sites.
When we pick someone up via guided games I look at their Raid Report so I get an idea of how much I need to offer in the way of help and strats. If it's someone who is brand new we explain every fight and give them the easy jobs, if it's someone who has some clears I generally ask them what they want to do and let them do that role. If they are new, they will make mistakes and cause a few wipes, be nice about it, you had to learn it too. If your only goal is to race through then guided games might not be for you.
Please don't be a pompous a-hole to the players you pick up, remember, you are with your clan and they are the outsider so it can be a bit intimidating to them. Try to be inclusive and make them feel welcome.
Anyway, just wanted to post something that wasn't a "remove eververse" post and let people know that guided games can be a good experience.
