I want this game to die, It's the only why this company will get a clue and maybe wake the hell up. As of right now I hope the player base keeps plummeting. This company needs to learn what it means to show respect to their player base. This isn't a free to play game that needs the micro in their game to create events or any content for that matter.
The base game with this cheap expansion pays for all that it's self. If free to play games can provided content with just using micro. WTH is this lazy company doing with the money they have made this last 3 years through things like...

Boost packs
RockStar
Pop-Tarts
Festival of cost and whatever else
For the amount of money this game makes and what they have offered is Hog Wash when you look at games that use the micro as they are intended for....

To be fair, how much do you think d2 spends on ads and marketing compared to warframe? Probably (as a guess) around a 10:1 ratio Plus the lack of custscenes in warframe (base game OR expansion) save a lot of money too. Not to mention Bungies employs over 750 people and they each probably earn more than someone at other devs

They make well over enough money to handle ads and you putting it that way it is easy to say, stop wasting money on ads that didn't need to be added and put it into the game. Now I have to look it up, but from what I understand Y2 this game made 6 billion since it was released and that isn't the full amount that this game has made since it's been released in 2014. It's a full priced game for the base game that Activision even bragged about that D2 sales beat D1 vanilla by flying colors but never gave the actual numbers, then anywhere from $30 to $50 for the each expansion that adds to that amount with the normal Micro and the added micro for the events that they make a huge profit off of. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3qnr35_sZw That is not including D1 that is still making money off the micro... Then you have all the promotional events and the ones now being added to this game. The one big thing you didn't mention that there is 3 platforms that this company makes money from with everything from micro to promotional events and this cash grab Curse of Dawning. Warframe has about half the employees as Bungie and they have survived without ads and other things. Hmmm, wonder how they did that? Cutscenes don't mean diddly-squat when their is barley any story, no voice actors for you character and and the lore was removed from your entire game that this company (Lied) about having so many cutscenes, story etc... that gamers would be sick of it in other words. The story to D2 was so damn short and pathetic that they didn't even explain how the Traveller is alive when they said he was dead in The taken king. This game did not especially with this cheap lazy expansion have the content as D1 did as far as the in-game content goes. D2 was ripped apart and everything D1 had was removed leaving this D2 barebone. The cost of creating a games have gone done in the last couple years. As I said, with them ripping this game apart and not adding the content that this game is majorly lacking. Where the hell is the money going to other then the CEO that makes 6 million a year?
