  • People like you still not -blam!-ing getting it is really starting to shit me to tears. Its not Eververse, its her contents. Once upon a time all the loot that you find in Eververse today was actually spread out across end game activities as rewards for doing them. In D2 they took all that away and locked it behind a pay wall or effortless RNG grind that doesn't even matter because you get EXP from doing anything. What its the result of that? A shallow and stale end game with nothing to chase, no actual decent rewards, no incentive to do any of the activities because there's nothing to go for. Tell me dismantling legendary and exotics into gunsmith materials to get more crap that you are going to dismantle is rewarding, I -blam!-ing dare you. So do you understand now? Wake the -blam!- up!

No because it isn’t just Eververse purchases that are the problem. The entire game is geared to drive you through Eververse. Every single dull looking piece of armour, every dull looking weapon (even with shaders they look flat) every “exotic” ship, sparrow or ghost. Every time the system figures out what you’re chasing from your free bright engrams and denies dropping it for you. It’s all to tempt you and eventually make you give in and buy some silver. Even if it’s only once, they’ve won. It’s the only form of levelling up in the game that has any kind of satisfaction, that you gain anything from! Light level does nothing, armour sets look boring and have no perks. Weapons have no noticeable perks, most exotics are just yellow items, shaders are consumable, supers and grenades take forever to charge and don’t feel “super”, even brights are slow and unfulfilling. So what is left? Yup... That shiny stuff locked behind Eververse. There’s a lot of us who will NOT give bungie more money. But there are plenty who do unfortunately. If the game was better maybe people wouldn’t mind. But when you don’t want to play the game cos it’s a joke why buy silver. Lol

  • That awkward moment when someone who owns destiny is gonna boycott it by not buying it again. I agree, the real way to make change is boycott Eververse.
