Ah no, it's not like they make money on people logging in. The only way to change a companies mind is to hurt their bottom line and and not playing a game you already paid for does not do that.

I know that, of course. However, just because we can no longer see how many players there are, Bungie still can. And they know that a one-day boycott, if done on a large enough scale, sends a message. Be that as it may, we don't really need to send messages right now; we've already sent a very loud one with the "Remove Eververse" forum siege. Ball's in their court. I'm not overly concerned with how it resolves itself; I've already bought all the Y1 DLC, and I will never spend a nickel at Eververse until the RNG element is removed. But I will be affected, obviously; if the playerbase dwindles enough, I will find it harder to find people to partner with, and mismatches in PvP will be more frequent.
