How do you fix all the problems with D1, and then release a sequel that sends the damn franchise BACKWARDS? 2 years of work in D1 to make it the perfect game were just all reversed and dashed all of that hard work away.
It's incredibly infuriating that I can jump on D1 and have an ultimately more complete Destiny experience than the -blam!-ing sequel. Absolutely ridiculous.
Also, REMOVE EVERVERSE. IT'S TOXIC CANCER THAT IS DESTROYING (has destroyed?) THIS GAME.
And fix -blam!-ing Mayhem! Ban anyone that's been reported for cheating permanently.
D1 is my favorite game of all time and it makes me sick to my goddamn stomach that D2 is even associated with it.
I needed to get that off my chest after a short play session of this mess of a game.
Edit: In hindsight, I shouldn't insult D1 Year 1 like that. D2 Year 1 is far worse than D1 Year 1.

Bungie made a successful game in D1, and they failed to make D2 meet their own standards. I don't know why they felt like dropping so many popular features for D2's unpopular ones; it's mind-boggling.

I agree with everything you said - except - it's not Luke Smith's fault. He is following managements thinking, he may not like it but that's what he is following. Though they make him the fall guy for their errors.

D1 was a lot better than the mess d2 is in right now. Weapons were worth getting. Raids were worth it. And pvp was fun. D2 lost a lot of players with the xp throttling. How do we know there isnt other systems in place to hinder players...

They should have a Cheetos tie-in, where the lucky purchaser would get a chance at a code for a Dawning armor piece, and a guaranteed facsimile of Luke Smith’s autograph.
Satire.
