The only problem with you plan is that no one comes to the forum anymore because the few hundred of you #remove babies have ruined it with your temper tantrum.

This forum has been pretty dead for a while and it's not the players fault, bungie did this to themselves bro...glad you enjoy the game but the majority doesn't and that means either big changes or more of the same of what you see here
-
Edited by joey big guns: 1/2/2018 5:16:03 PMIt’s only “dead” because if you’re not on the bandwagon with all the scabs anything positive is downvoted till it’s off the pages. I guess there’re just too many salty kids who feel they’re entitled to have Bungie give them they game they want rather than Bungie produce their game how they want to.
-
No, the forum was alright, people posting about this and that. The #remove mob really did turn it to a monotonous drone.
-
I don't think you know what "majority" means.
-
It's capitalism at its best...supply and demand and the consumer is pissed at the moment.
-
Edited by joey big guns: 1/2/2018 5:19:00 PMYes, the consumers who blindly buy things based off hopes, dreams and assumption are upset that they bought and prepaid for something before doing their due dilligance and are now blaming a company for producing something it wanted to rather than make something that the consumer thinks it should be. Yes, poor idiot consumers who buy things then blame other people when it’s not what they wanted 🙄
-
Relax....you must see how much Bungie's business model has changed since they linked up with Activision. I just hate to see something cool in this industry die. Been a gamer since the Atari 2600 days and Bungie was the master of mixing business success and catering to their fans...not so much these days.
-
A few "consumers" are pissed. Mainly the dumb ones who don't understand capitalism (i.e. you have to pay for things).
-
So what you're saying is that if you bought something at a store that you really wanted. Then open it to find that someone just shit in the box. Even though its not what you expected or wanted, you should be ok with it because it's capitalism?
-
Hahaha. Man, that's capitalism summed up almost perfectly.
-
Just because you enjoy the game. Doesn't mean the numbers arnt in a very poor state. And all of bungies moves for destiny 2.... have been based off numbers....
-
The numbers are massive.
-
Shhh... don't say that. You'll invite the trolls who look solely at trials numbers and completely disregard the pve numbers. Lol!
-
1.1 Million out of 8.0, a little over 12.5% of people still playing, I wouldn't call that a rousing success
-
That's daily and it's not same million and a half everyday. So the number of total retained players is far greater.
-
You're making that assumption, it seems unlikely that 7 millions people are still playing but each randomly once a week.
-
Oh for sure. It's definitely not all different players but it's also likely that it's not the same million as well. I play the game and there's no shortage of players in any instances right now. Also seeing alot of low level players. Going through lfg posts, you have to refresh every minute or your post gets buried by new posts. Point is the game's not in the sorry state people claim.
-
Compared to other games it is. For example, Battlefield 1 has roughly 100k players per day.
-
Battlefield 1 also came out a lonnng time before d2....
-
Problem is it's on the sub Reddit aswell... you're mad now... but you'll thank those babies if real changes are actually imolimented because of it. Whether you'd like to admit it or not. The majority of the fan base has moved on from D2 with their free time.
-
A. No one cares about the sub Reddit either. B. I'm not mad. I'm enjoying the game. What are the "real changes" you want? Easier access to ships, sparrows and shaders? No one who actually plays the game cares about any of these things. Literally everyone who plays has at least one ship and one sparrow they like and just by playing you easily get enough dust to buy the one or two things you specifically want. C. Majority of who now? What are you basing that on? Destiny is alive and well. People have been saying it's dead/dying since it's release and yet it goes on.
-
You are 100% mad about the forum. Which is why I almost mentioned reddit. No one ever said the game is dying. People like you will see that it doesn't. Trials participation was at an all time low. 130k across 3 platforms with an "expansion" not even a month old. There's no progression system. Your armor is all cosmetic. We mine aswell have 5 mod slots with power levels and completely call armor cosmetic as that's all it is. We still do have strike specific loot. Yet the eververse has seen its inventory increase by over 10p items.... I can go on and on about a downgrade. Presales guarantee they'll be a D3. Without some serious changes that will be the last installment this franchise sees
-
I'm not "mad" about the forum. More bemused by the amount of time people put into freaking out on it (as a side note the fact that so many people spend so much time posting is proof positive that Destiny is one of the biggest games right now). In terms of your "points". The armor is not all cosmetic. There are, as a matter of fact, attributes to the armor pieces as well as mods. So you're just lying. The "eververse inventory increase" isn't real. If you're counting shaders and slightly different sparrows and new items you're just lying to yourself. You're prediction about D3 is bonkers. How could anyone even know at this point?
-
Do elaborate on bow the armor effects gameplay outside of the mod? Oh a minor mobility buff that still makes my character feel like he has cinder blocks on his feet? And that is completely false info. The numbers arnt "massive". The sales numbers are (all bungie cares about) due to pre orders. The player base is laughable across 3 platforms. Regardless of your opinion on the quality of this game. That is a fact, not an opinion. Most have moved on to the division, fortnite, warframe, etc. Yugioh duel links is a more popular streaming game now.... destiny isn't dead. But it is far away from thriving.
-
HAHAAHA. The Division and Warframe. Man. You're funny.
