All bungie gives us is the same old "we'll talk more later" line, despite the fact that the forums have been burning for some time now. What will make them listen? Our complaints? Obviously not. If eververse proves one thing it is that money is the only language that bungie understands. If those of you who support #removeeverpurse really want to send a message, then pick a day (for example Friday) and everyone who still plays agree not to play on that day. We spread the word before that day across the forums, across reddit. We convince our friends/clan mates who play to play something else that day. We do this, every week. If bungie doesn't notice our presence they will certainly notice our absence. What do you say? Boycott Destiny Friday anyone? Lets send bungie a message through action...
BOYCOTT DESTINY FRIDAY!!!

everyone should boycott Monday Jan. 8th when they get back from vacation. imagine them coming back to work and having no one playing the game.
-

That’s not how a boycott works lol. You don’t pick one day to not play the game and then play it other days of the week. All that tells them is you’re still signing on throughout the week, no need to change. You boycott by not playing at all but still voicing your opinion and only come back once necessary changes are made
-
You do realize that not playing a day does nothing in the slightest, right? Goes to prove all those following this BS "movement" dont think anything fully through
-
I’m boycotting everyday. -blam!- that man, the game is so boring. All the loot sucks, no new raids (raid lairs aren’t raids), cosmetics locked behind microtransactions excessively grindy loot boxes. Nope. I’m done and I’ve been done. I was an ardent supporter of D1. No more.

Whoa 399 upvotes? Looks like the whole community is on board.

Friday is trials day. No

Problem with that is that people who regularly play the game don't come here because they know how toxic you lot are!! So if anything all they will see with be about a 1k drop in players. Good luck but I'd rather show support and understanding than just outright boycott, it never solves anything.
-
I agree....everyone involved in this forum melodrama should not play Friday.....or any day for that matter. We won't miss you.
-
Dem Snowballs doe...

I've never purchased engrams at Eververse but I think ill drop 40 or 50 bucks on Friday just for the hell of it . . .why? Because we have the right to have a choice. You want to take that away.

#boycottdestinyfriday

The community hasn't done anything but spam the forums, eververse will not be removed the core of the game is designed around it.
-
what is one day gonna do?
-
Isn’t the large majority of Bungie Staff on holiday until next week??

I haven't played D2 for a few weeks. I can't believe how disgusting this company has become. As if the lies in D1 about the game wasn't enough to wake them up that they got called out on. They have literally lost their mind thinking their entire player bass will just sit back and let them treat them like a doormat. I mean, they literally lied about a few things this last month and pulled this dawning Hog Wash and said C-ya, we are on vacation so deal with it. Hahahahahah

Boycotting Destiny 2 for a single day would likely do no more than give Bungie a good opportunity to take the servers down for maintenance on that particular day. These guys may not be all that interested in putting in the effort required to bring D2 back up to D1 standards, but they’re not dumb. There is no chance of derailing their laser like focus on making as much cash as possible with the least possible effort. Bungie will let the Destiny title die and move on to another major project before they let the D1 fanbase dictate how D2 moves along. IMO they’re already moving in that direction. They’ve been caught pulling quite a bit of shady shit with D2 and I could definitely see them moving on to other projects just to get the stench off.
-
At this point, why bother playing at all? This is obviously an abusive relationship and there is no sign from Activision or Bungie that it is going to get any better. Even if the whole community joins this 1 day boycott Activision will still ignore it. Leaving Destiny 2 all together and not giving Bungie/Activision anymore of are money will send a stronger message.

This one of the most toxic communities ever.
-
I've been boycotting for over a month now so this should be easy
-
I haven’t played destiny 2 much recently, but I’ll be sure to log on on Friday now.
