All bungie gives us is the same old "we'll talk more later" line, despite the fact that the forums have been burning for some time now. What will make them listen? Our complaints? Obviously not. If eververse proves one thing it is that money is the only language that bungie understands. If those of you who support #removeeverpurse really want to send a message, then pick a day (for example Friday) and everyone who still plays agree not to play on that day. We spread the word before that day across the forums, across reddit. We convince our friends/clan mates who play to play something else that day. We do this, every week. If bungie doesn't notice our presence they will certainly notice our absence. What do you say? Boycott Destiny Friday anyone? Lets send bungie a message through action...

-
Yea you can do it man! These types of posts gather upwards of 800-900 upvotes each time. The whole .5% of you guys are really getting stuff done. Prove that you mean business and boycott it for 3 years please.

Been Boycotting Destiny for a couple of weeks now ... back to playing The Division since the 1.8 free update dropped. Loving Tom Clancy's The Division again with the updates!!

There are so many other issues with this game at the moment. This plastering of the forum with the same topic, with absolutely no meaningful substance of a message logically backing up the why's and what's of the reasoning, is going to delay any meaningful changes to the game itself. I don't agree with Eververse. But washing your car so it looks nice doesn't fix the flat tire.
-
Or how about boycott it permanently? I started Monday.
-
What’s 2000-maybe 6000 people going to do?
-
I just stopped playing altogether lol
-
Well you can just delete the game and not play at all. Send a much bigger message.....
-
Bout time someone with the idea for noticed. Potentially go on a boycott for more than one day tho. Really make an impact.
-
No cause you have the little fanboys that don't care
-
I've been boycotting destiny 2 for a few months now
-
This just proves that this forum is full of intellectually challenged people.

Then you better not play a game made by EA, 343, Ubisoft, Blizzard, 2K, Bethesda, Bioware, Capcom, etc. On Fridays. Considering there is literally nothing obtained from Eververse that will give you any advantage over another player. Everything (except for a limited time event) can be obtained by literally just playing the game. Literally everything that you do gives you experience towards Bright Engrams. Everything in Eververse is purely cosmetic. Now, let's look at the examples that I gave: EA: Madden 2018
https://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/691088-xbox-one/75710237
In order to obtain the max ranking for your team you are required to purchase cards. There is no other way to obtain said cards. 343: Halo 5 The only "endgame" items to obtain in halo 5 are purely cosmetic armor, and weapons for one time use in Warzone. Both obtained with req packs. Which can be purchased. This allows anyone the ability to literally purchase every unlockable item in the game... Ubisoft: Assassin's Creed Origins
https://gamerant.com/assassins-creed-loot-boxes/
Has both loot boxes, and items that can literally only be obtained with real money. Blizzard: World Of Warcraft
https://us.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/20420212723
You purchase the game, pay a monthly subscription, and there are still items only obtainable by using real money. 2K: NBA2K18
https://www.google.com/amp/s/kotaku.com/nba-2k18-is-riddled-with-microtransactions-1818554307/amp
Literally pay to win. Bethesda: skyrim /fallout 4 / quake
https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/general-discussion/M0aV9hAi-bethesda-went-from-one-of-my-fave-game-studios-to-my-most-despised-now
Reducing the capability of modders, and also now charging for mods. Also, quake has skins that are only unlockable via money purchases. Bioware: Mass Effect
https://www.google.com/amp/www.eurogamer.net/amp/2017-10-23-manveer-heir-bioware-mass-effect-ea-monetisation
In the article it explains that someone spent literally 15,000,000 on microtransactions. Need I say more? Capcom: Street Fighter
https://www.google.com/amp/s/venturebeat.com/2011/03/17/capcom-and-the-abuse-of-customer-loyalty-dlc/amp/
Charge money for costumes. Those costumes are not unlock able in the game any other way (like destiny Eververse items are). I also believe in the new one it costs money to unlock characters as well. (but this I do not know 100 percent) As you can see, every developer I previously listed has microtransactions for games that you need to initially purchase to begin with, that are locked behind a "pay wall". Some even make it a requirement in order to max level (Madden). Not all purely cosmetic like Destiny either. Halo 5 offers its entire endgame for purchase. So be sure to boycott those companies as well.

But can we pull off #FixTheRealProblemsInsteadOfEververse ? Probably not. It’s too long and the community is to whiny and stupid.

Edited by Frenzi: 1/3/2018 8:55:04 AMI am very disappointed by destiny 2 we played the flawed masterpiece known as destiny 1 but 3 years later they deliver this of shit game that has a boring ass campaign that barely scratched the lore of destiny, shitty 4v4 pvp and static weapon roles and worst of all eververse the bane of end game content, I know that this comment on the post will go unnoticed by the devs but in the slight chance this a dev does read this listen to your goddamn fanbase ( or whats left of it ) and make better choices for this franchise really hope this game can come back and be even better than of y3 d1 #boycottdestinyfriday
-
Yes keep it up until eververse is gone
-
I’m beginning to think that at this point, it’s all a joke to bungie. Now they are just seeing how long they can wait before someone gets really mad and does something terrible.
-
You realise the amount of people on here is barely 1% of the player base?
-
Edited by Turkfebruary: 1/3/2018 2:05:41 PMThe only thing this community can pull off is their collective puds. What a bunch of over dramatic, hypocritical children. Movement LOL.
-
The 'RemoveEververse' DLC will cost $50.
-
Edited by IllDIDDYDONUT: 1/3/2018 1:43:15 PMyet the people who said they will boycott will most likely play on Friday
