I'm taking a break from ESO and had been looking for something different to try out. Two had caught my attention before, Wildstar (the combat is great I keep hearing and I like the art style) and Tera.
What are your favorites or the ones you're playing now.

Edited by Dr. Hard On: 1/1/2018 2:13:27 PMWildstar is fun, albeit lacking in terms of a community. If you’re gonna play it, don’t expect to do things you would do in most MMORPGs, like dungeons, raids or PvP. The community is barebones (only a couple hundred ever online) and the Wildstar team itself is small now. It does really well in terms of world design and gameplay. The biggest activity worth doing, at least in my experience, was the endgame zones. They’re filled with bosses and challenges and that’s where you’ll find most people if you’re playing casually. SWTOR is my favorite by far, but I would go on sites like Dulfy.net to get a referral link so you can try it out. The free to play model is really bad, but the game is worth the subscription. There’s a lot of dungeons and raids to do and a decent amount of PvP stuff too, along with a neat Starfighter mode. Its biggest thing is it’s story though, it is a BioWare game after all, so if you like stories, you get 8 of them for each class. Plus the main expansion stories and side quest arcs. The community is nice enough, but it’s also equal parts cancer since there are some notable trolls. If you do end up liking it, I might throw some money your way for a non recurring subscription. There’s always WoW, which is the present day model for the “best” MMORPG now. You do have to subscribe to experience everything, but it’s definitely worth it. Tera is cool, I never got into it because it looks and feels like any other Korean MMO. But if you’re into that sort of thing, it is free and plenty of fun.
If you play any of these, feel free to hit me up, MMORPGs are my favorite kind of game to play, so I’m always down to play if you want.
